ATTENTION PRE-PA'ers!!!

Officer elections will be held online from Friday, 6/20 through Monday 6/23. The link to the ballots will be available on OrgSync and through the FB page at that time.

Interested in becoming an officer?? Positions open this year include: VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Community Service Officer, and Public Relations Officer. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in putting your name on the ballot!

Hey Pre-PA'ers!

I have some great news from Bev Kosik, a wonderful representative from NAU's PA program. NAU is now offering small group tours of the Biomedical Institute in downtown Phoenix!

Here is a list of pre-scheduled dates in 2014 that are open to the public:

Feb. 28
March 28
April 25
May 30
June 27

If anyone is interesting in touring the campus at a different date, let me know and we can arrange a date and time that would work best for our club!
All tours are 1 hour and start promptly and 11 AM.

A little personal note -

I work in EMS and just had the pleasure of working side by side with an active PA-C on the scene of a pediatric emergency. She was calm, collected, and able to appropriately help our crews to treat the patient. So wonderful to have a person like this, always willing to go the extra mile to help, in our field!

Don't forget!!! Tonight at 6 PM in the Cooley Ballroom (I believe it is Ballroom B) we are having our first event of the semester in conjunction with the Pre-Health club!!! A representative from NAU will be coming to talk to us about their new PA program! Can't wait... Hope to see you there!!!

Just another reminder that Club Hub is today at Poly!!! 4-6 PM at the Sun Devil fitness complex inside the gym! Come visit the Pre-PA booth and eat some yummy candy :)

CASPA The 2011 CASPA application cycle will close on March 23, 2011. This is the final date that CASPA will accept transcripts or letters of recommendation for the 2011 application cycle. If you plan to re-apply in the 2012 application cycle, the 2012 CASPA application will be available on April 13,

Relay for Life 2011

Only 2 days until Relay for Life!!! We have currently raised $572.60 of our $1,000 goal!! That's amazing! Good job clubbers and team members! Let's keep it coming!

Congraulations to our new officers!
Alexandrea Shannon (Secretary), Cal Salmon (Treasurer), Ashley Williams (Community Service Chair), Samantha Gardner (Community Service Officer) and Kasia Andruszak (Vice President).

Next meeting: Tuesday March 15th 3pm-5pm, Union Conference Room 120F. We'll be having officer elections and talking about pre-PA life. Hope to see you all there!

Officer requirements: Enrolled in at least six semester hours of University credit at ASU, Uphold a cumulative GPA of 3.0, Must attend every meeting unless given permission by the President or VP, and Participate in at least (15) hours of community service.
