Hi. I recently graduated from PA school and created this blog while in school. It may be helpful to you!
Hello! I work for NEWS-Line for Physician Assistants, and we are giving away two signed copies of Beth Grivett's 2nd ed. of "So You Want to Be a Physician Assistant." It's chock full of useful information on being a PA! To enter, pre-PAs just need to "share" our post on the book via FB or RT us on Twitter. Thanks, and good luck!
Looking for a PA to Shadow? Check out this FREE website for PA Shadowing. If you don't find a PA in your area, just "like" us on facebook and post your request on our wall and we will find one for you :)

We are a club to help ASU pre-PA/pre-med students apply to various PA schools and get exposure to various shadowing and intern opportunities!

The purpose of our organization is to educate students of ASU on the roles that Physician Assistants play in the medical field, the admission requirements and the application process to Physician Assistant programs.

If anyone is interesting in touring the campus at a different date, let me know and we can arrange a date and time that would work best for our club!
All tours are 1 hour and start promptly and 11 AM.

Hope everyone is getting settled into the spring semester, and please check back soon for upcoming meeting dates!!

Good luck on your finals, everyone!!!

A little personal note -

I work in EMS and just had the pleasure of working side by side with an active PA-C on the scene of a pediatric emergency. She was calm, collected, and able to appropriately help our crews to treat the patient. So wonderful to have a person like this, always willing to go the extra mile to help, in our field!

Don't forget!!! Tonight at 6 PM in the Cooley Ballroom (I believe it is Ballroom B) we are having our first event of the semester in conjunction with the Pre-Health club!!! A representative from NAU will be coming to talk to us about their new PA program! Can't wait... Hope to see you there!!!

Just another reminder that Club Hub is today at Poly!!! 4-6 PM at the Sun Devil fitness complex inside the gym! Come visit the Pre-PA booth and eat some yummy candy :)

Hope to see you all there!

Hey Pre-PA'ers!

If you are interested, please send me an email at [email protected].

Thanks, and I look forward to a wonderful and productive semester in conjunction with you all!
