Families can enroll early for Device Protection for the following school year each spring. Early Enrollment Device Protection is available now and will remain available until July 31, 2024. During this period, families can purchase Optional Device Protection at a discounted price of $20 per device. Coverage can still be purchased after this date until the end of September for the regular price of $25.

Online Program Sign-up and credit card payments can be made through the district's new online payment system, which is accessible through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Rocky Mountain High School senior, Alexa Ungerecht, is the 2024 winner of the Idaho Community Foundation's Elois and Marie Goldmann Scholarship with an essay titled "Surviving the Unimaginable: Viktor Frankl's Story of Resilience." Mary and George Freund established the scholarship in 1997 in honor of George's grandparents who perished at the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Holocaust. The scholarship is awarded to the best essay on the Holocaust submitted by a student graduating from high school in Idaho who plans to pursue higher education in the state. Alexa will be attending the University of Idaho Honors Program in the Fall of 2024 to pursue a B.S. in Virtual Technology & Design.

We are thrilled to announce that ten outstanding Idaho high school students, four of which are from West Ada schools, have been awarded scholarships to attend the National Flight Academy in Pensacola, Florida! 🌟 From June 9th to 14th, these bright minds will dive into a week-long immersive flight training camp at the Naval Air Station, ready to soar to new heights! 🚀

For six unforgettable days, these ten students will live and breathe aviation inside a 102,000 square foot, multi-story facility, surrounded by cutting-edge technology, flight simulators, and virtual-reality games that ignite imagination and foster learning! ✈️🎮

📅 Mark your calendars with these important dates and locations:

📍 Meridian High School, Peregrine Elementary Community School, Desert Sage Elementary School, Tully Park, Eagle Library, Hunter's Creek Park, Silver Sage Elementary School, Frontier Elementary, McMillan Elementary Community School, Ustick Wolf Pack, and Chief Joseph School of the Arts!

🗓️ Various dates from June 3rd to August 2nd, with nutritious breakfast and lunch options available for children aged 1-18. Plus, special lunch sessions from June 3rd to June 7th and June 24th to June 28th.

Posted • For the THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR, the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies are your PASCO INVITE CHAMPIONS! The boys dominated with a first-place finish and the girls secured an impressive second place to bring home the combined trophy.

Earlier this week, the Grizzlies hosted the Grizzly Quad and secured first place in both the boys’ and girls’ events.

Also, a shout-out to the athletes who competed at the Boise Relays on Saturday! Fantastic job representing the Grizz!

Rocky students, we have some great college visits coming up and you are invited to attend these brief informational meetings by signing up in the RMHS Career Center or Scoir! If you are a junior, you are strongly encouraged to attend visits to learn more about admissions requirements before you begin to apply in the fall.

Some pics from today's rounds in the 2nd annual chess tournament!

Congratulations to the winners today. Consolation Round of 16 will be played on Tuesday, March 26th. Players can still win their way back to the final round. Thank you players, volunteers, and spectators for the amazing chess skills and sportsmanship that was shown today!


Starting on March 1st, 2024, families can enroll early for the 2024-2025 school year. Families signing up from March 1st to August 1st, 2024 can purchase optional device protection at a discounted price of $20 per device. Device protection begins as soon as payment is received and remains active until the end of September 2024.

If you enrolled and paid for optional device protection during the 2023-24 school year, your coverage extends through the summer until the last day of September 2025.

If you have questions about what to do with your device at the end of the year or about optional device protection, you can find answers on our website.
