A Very Special Day

This video is of my FIRST student playing the LAST song I assigned her. With it's overarching melancholy mood it, strangely, is entitled "A Very Special Day".
Obviously this piece doesn't fully display her abilities but I think it does symbolize the difficulty of change. I'm very sad to have to discontinue teaching piano lessons, but it gives me deep satisfaction to see music, as it always does, change the lives of my former students.
