My favorite recital of the year is today (12/20/15). The Music Factory's annual Holiday Recital. This year my students are performing holiday music at the Meridian Public Library on Cherry Ave. Show starts at 3 pm. All are welcome. Happy Holidays!

Sometimes my students say things that make me laugh and smile. Yesterday, when Logan came to his lesson I asked him, "Did you have a good week practicing your song?" He said, "Yes I did but remember, I'm no professional...but I think it sounds pretty good." Ha, now that made me chuckle.

Yay! A new Sweetwater catalog. Just what I need to feed my GAS (gear acquisition syndrome). If you don't get these catalogs, you should. They are a great free source of info on gear for the whole band.

One of my favorite weeks of the year is the one after Christmas when I get to see all the new guitars that Santa brought to my students this year. Oh yeah!

Holiday recital was awesome! I couldn't be more proud of my students. Merry Christmas.
