KA’MARIAN made this video for Mrs. Keith’s science 5th grade class. I’ve been emailing her since I realized the video he sent Tuesday was not confirmed receipt, but she hasn’t replied back. He really put his all into making this video and I don’t know if he will get credit for it because the teacher won’t even reply back to me.😒

🛑🛑Important Announcement for 3rd-5th Grade:🛑🛑

As a part of our “Count Me In!” campaign, we will be practicing test-taking strategies and skills over the next few weeks. To assist your scholar with this, we have created practice answer documents, similar to TNReady, that your scholars will complete in their Math, Reading, and Science classes with their teacher.

On April 28th, your scholars will have the opportunity to redeem their tickets for prizes if they are correct and completed. More information on redeeming the tickets will come at a later date!

If your scholar is still virtual, we are asking that you come to the school and pick up their practice materials as they will be necessary for class instruction. If your scholar is in person, their teacher will pass them out to your scholar.

Pick up dates/times
Wednesday, April 14: 10:00 am-2:00 pm
Thursday/Friday, April 15th and 16th: 9:00 am- 2:00 pm

We can’t wait to see your and your scholars “Bubbling for Success!”

Gestalt Community Schools pilot program aims to help parents cope with pandemic-related stress

The physical and mental well-being of each and every member of our Village is a top priority for Gestalt, as practicing healthy habits builds a stronger community for us all. Over the past few months, we've released weekly self-care and wellness tips and resources to our families and staff. This initiative is a part of a larger pilot program entitled Known, Loved and Educated: Gestalt Well-Being Initiative. Read this story by High Ground News to learn more about the program.

Gestalt Community Schools pilot program aims to help parents cope with pandemic-related stress Work, school, family, and all of the between—but all in one house. In 2020, it felt like the “outside” closed, and more time at home increased tensions in families and emphasized parenting needs of all kinds—including mental health support.

How to stay connected during the pandemic | GMA

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that the act of completely isolating ourselves goes against our basic instincts as humans. We miss being out of the house. We want to be around loved ones. We are feeling lonely. However, know that you aren’t alone – and there are ways to combat the feeling of disconnection. Even though we are connecting virtually, we can manage and uplift our feelings of loneliness by finding ways to give our full attention to the people around us. The greatest gift you can give is the gift of showing someone your attention is on them. Watch the following video to learn more about how giving your attention to others will help you leave the loneliness behind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W172Pa9S02c
