The UTHSC gymnasium will be closed all day Friday, July 17th in preparation for the Back to School Health Fair. On Saturday, July 18th the entire Fitness Center will be closed all day for the Health Fair. We will resume normal hours on Sunday, July 19th.

Whitewater Rafting and Kayak Instruction with UTHSC Outdoor Rec and Endless River Adventures!

[04/01/15] The Fitness Center will be closed on Friday, April 3rd in observance of Good Friday. We will resume normal business hours on April 4th.
Karate Class to Return
Karate Classes will begin Tuesday, March 3rd at 5:30 pm in Studio 2. They will be offered Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 pm. Come on over and check out the class.
NEW SpinFlex Class
If you enjoy Spin classes and circuit training, come check out this new class. Jesse will be teaching Spin Flex on Tuesdays at noon beginning February 24th! This is a high energy class, so come on over and get a good workout in before you go back to work or class.

WOMEN AND FREE WEIGHTS
For Women Only – Thursday, February 5th at 5:30pm in the Fitness Center we will be teaching women (ONLY) how to use Free Weights for the best results. If you have ever wanted to learn about weight lifting but were unsure, this is your chance. Grab a friend and come over to the Fitness Center.

[01/16/15] In observance of Martin Luther King Day the Fitness Center will be closed Monday, January 19. We will be open normal hours for the weekend and will resume normal hours on Tuesday.

[10/06/14] The basketball court at the fitness center will be closed October 6 – 12 for cleaning and striping the volleyball court. All other areas of the fitness center are open for normal hours. Thanks for your patience as we maintain and improve your facilities.

[08/12/14] The Fitness Center gymnasium will be closed for the College of Medicine orientation from Tuesday, August 12 at 2:00pm until Wednesday, August 13 at 4:00pm. This only affects the gymnasium. The rest of the Fitness Center is open for normal hours.
[07/25/14] The gymnasium will remain closed today Friday, July 25 and plan to be open tomorrow Saturday, July 26. The racquetball courts, climbing wall and ping pong will remain closed until further notice, next week. Thank you for your patience while we improve our fitness center.
[07/21/14] The fitness center gymnasium, racquetball courts, ping pong tables and climbing wall will be closed July 22 – 24 (Tues – Thurs) for renovations. The main doors of the fitness center will also be closed. Entry to the fitness center will be through the SAC doors and check in is at Desk 2. We are working to improve our facilities. [04/28/14] Due to the preparation and ensuing demolition of the Randolph Dormitory, the SAC South Main entrance will be closed except for emergency exiting beginning April 29, 2014 and will remain closed for 35 to 45 days while the Randolph Dormitory is demolished. This will require anyone wishing to enter the SAC building to use the North entrance to the building. This closure is necessary to protect everyone from possible falling debris when the demolition of the Randolph building begins. We are estimating that the demolition of the Randolph building will begin on May, 9, 2014. Sorry for any inconvenience this closure might cause.

[01/09/14] This is a reminder regarding the expiration of locker rentals. Some locker rentals will expire on January 31st. On February 7th, any belongings left in an expired locker will be removed and kept in lost and found for 30 days.
