[04/11/16]   Hey PAD members! I just wanted to remind everyone of the event on campus tomorrow. If you watched the Netflix documentary Making a Murderer, then you know that many issues raised in the film are in need of critical debate and discussion. Even if you didn't see the documentary, this event would be a great way to learn about inequity and corruption in our criminal justice system.

I urge anyone who recognizes the serious harms of mass incarceration and inherent prejudices of our current criminal justice system to attend this event. By uniting in conversation over these issues, we can better inform the students of our school to be informed citizens in the current political climate.

And also, it should be really fun, so come!!

Come out tonight to FJ-B at 6 p.m. to hear from an amazing panel of lawyers speak about their experiences in the field of law and advice they have for students.
These lawyers are taking time out of their busy schedules to be here, so I hope as many of you as possible can come and show them how impressive our PAD chapter is at Rhodes!

[03/15/16]   Get ready for our next event! This Thursday, March 17th, at 6 p.m. in FJ-B, we are having some very special guests come to Rhodes! Four very accomplished lawyers from the surrounding area are coming to speak about their experiences in law school and the ups and downs of practicing law. Stay around at the end for Q&A and NETWORKING (this is highly advisable with summer on the way. Can anyone say job/internship opportunities??😁).

This promises to be one of our best events yet, so come out and show these lawyers how dedicated our PAD chapter is!

Now for the fun part - we want to get your input for what you guys want to hear from the lawyers. Any specific questions? Advice? Funny memories? Comment below and we will add these to the agenda!

BUT STILL THIS WEEK: Kaplan Workshop on the LSAT! This Wednesday at 7 in Buckman 108. Come and get tips and tricks for acing the LSAT. This session is good for wherever you are in your LSAT prep, even if you haven't looked at a book yet.
