Even though we couldn’t all be together, we didn’t want the year to end without singing our school song one more time. Here’s Mr. Wright leading the KMPE staff in a socially-distant school song outside Mrs. Bailey’s house last week! 💙💚 #kmpeforever

As we continue to show appreciation to all of our teachers, we also recognize that we are approaching the end of this school year in a very different way than we expected. We are sad that we can't shower you with hugs or tangible gifts, however, in recognition of all of the extra work and extra stress that everyone has been dealing with over the past few weeks, we want to provide a space for you to take a step away from work, be able to prioritize self-care and mental health, and to have some extra time to focus on things that are important to you outside of KMCS. Therefore, KMCS will be closed on Monday, May 11, 2020, for #MindfulnessMonday!

Focus On Results

KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools now consists of 7 schools - 3 elementary, 3 middle, and 1 high. KIPP Memphis will serve 3,000 students in 2017-18.

KMCS students develop the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to become thoughtful, influential, and successful citizens in the competitive world. KMCS will raise expectations of public education in underserved communities by cultivating high-performing educational leaders and by serving as a model of excellence.

We believe each and every person has their own unique light. This light is their gift, and while our gifts may be different they all make the world a better place. At KMPE, we are committed to creating an environment in which each child’s gift is valued, nurtured and can be expanded into the world. As children learn about the strengths that will help them develop their gifts they truly SPARKLE - reflecting their light out into the world around them.
