Last Tuesday was a service day for Briarcrest Christian Middle School. We had the pleasure of hosting 13 8th graders and educating them on special education and ABA. We played games like telephone and charades with a twist. We used autism facts for our game of telephone to dispel myths about developmental disabilities and autism. We played charades so they could experience life without verbal language. They all will agree that it can get frustrating communicating without verbal language.
We hope that each young lady learned that it is okay to be different. Embrace the difference because everyone is fearfully and wonderfully made.

Reminder: Harwood will be closed 27th-29th. We will resume classes December 2nd. Please be safe and enjoy your Thanksgiving break.
