Our motto is "Education starts early. The question is: What are they learning?" The Early Literacy and Learning Academy (ELLA) was founded by Kenda Johnson.

Johnson taught high school and then middle school in some of the toughest schools in America. She acheived success as a classroom teacher and mentored other teachers as a master teacher and an English as a second language (ESL) specialist.
