Say hello to one of our leaders, Becky Carroll. Becky has been a nurse for 13 years and has worked in labor and delivery, as a case manager, and with Le Bonheur Nurse-Family Partnership. She has served in various roles with NFP, as a NHV on the first team when it began in 2010, as a Supervisor, and now as the Clinical Manager. Becky holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree, and her passion is serving the community. Becky moved with her family to Memphis from California in 2007, and her whole family feels like they are part of NFP too! Becky is a vegetarian and loves animals, and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and their many dogs and cats.

Say hello to Elizabeth Burrow Pletz! Beth is a Nurse Home Visitor on Team 1 and has one of the biggest hearts a person could have. She has always had a passion for Comminity Health and has been with Nurse-Family Partnership for 10 years. In her free time, Beth loves gardening and is also an avid cyclist. Her favorite thing about working in NFP is advocating for her clients and watching the new mothers grow into the best they can be.

Let me introduce you to Nurse Home Visitor on Team 1, Jill Camp Lewis! Jill has been a nurse for 21 years and has a background in Med-Surg, Dialysis and Brain/Spinal Rehab all before transferring to Community Health working in pediatric programs for 5 years before making the move to Memphis from Atlanta. Jill and her family moved to Memphis is 2011 and she joined the NFP team then. Outside of work, Jill has 3 children and enjoys hiking, rehabbing wildlife and attending sporting events at Mississippi state Univ where 2 of her children attend and play on the soccer and swim teams. She says the favorite part of her job is walking alongside a new mom to give support and encouragement as they become the mom they want to be!

Wednesday’s introduction brings us Barbara Sullivan. She is our Data Coordinator for Team 2 and has been with the Methodist system for 2 years and transferred to Nurse-Family Partnership in February.

Say hello to Ms. Vera! She is the Data Coordinator for Team 1. Our Data Coordinator, or administrative assistant, is the heartbeat of the office. We are grateful for all of YOU!

As we begin this Thanksgiving holiday let’s talk about how thankful we are for Nurse Home Visitor, Molly Devine Rodgers. After working in Labor and Delivery for 17 years, she made the transition to community health. Molly is actually the first nurse hired on Team 2 and her many years of OB experience is much appreciated by her coworkers. When she isn’t working, her 3 teenagers keep her busy and on her toes.

Tuesdays introduction brings Carrie Hetzler! Carrie began her NFP journey 5 years ago as a Nurse Home Visitor and she became the Nurse Supervisor for Team 2 when it began in January 2021. Prior to NFP, Carrie worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for 16 years. From the age of 13, when she witnessed the birth of her first niece, she knew she was meant to work with moms and babies. In her free time she loves working out and spending time with her family and has a big heart for dogs too!

We can’t let this day end without another introduction! Meet Dusty Aten, another Nurse Home Visitor from Team 1. Dusty began her NFP career 2.5 years ago in Montana and moved to Memphis in June. She has spent five years working in Labor and Delivery, 5 years in an OBGYN clinic and 20 years as a doula. She truly has a heart for people which is why she loves the long term relationships that are built through NFP. During her time off, Dusty loves spending time with her amazing husband and 4 children ranging from preteens to teens. Together they enjoy spending time outdoors, playing games, traveling and attending church events such as their bi-weekly street ministry in Raleigh. She loves the Lord with all her heart and feels passionate about caring for families.

Happy Thursday afternoon NFP community! Today we are introducing Adrienne West! She is a Nurse Home Visitor on Team 1 who joined our team this summer. She has been a nurse for 5 years: 3 years at Le Bonheur and 2 years at St. Jude. During her time off, Adrienne loves hiking and crocheting and considers herself a 1/2 marathon ”running” foodie. Before becoming a nurse, she worked as a barista on and off for 9 years. She loves that NFP gives her the opportunity to lift up other women in the community.

She has also done travel nursing, and happens to be the best friend we mentioned in the introduction yesterday. Prior to beginning maternity leave, Paige enrolled several clients who are anxiously awaiting her return. However, those clients have still been receiving services from other nurses, which goes to show how committed our clients are to the NFP program!

Hello, hello! Meet Molly McCarter Stevens! Molly started as a Nurse Home Visitor on Team 2 in May 2021. She has been a nurse for 7 years and has worked in the ER, NICU and QoLa Kids Progam.
