Eye-catching, copper brown, pearlized glass Czech glass beads with a satin luster, a Holy Family centerpiece a simple curved crucifix combine to make this traditional, five-decade rosary a great choice for anyone with a devotion to Our Lady.

Whether for yourself or as a gift for someone special in your life, this heirloom quality sacramental is sure to be cherished for decades to come!
Its that time of year once again when we begin to think about our New Year’s Resolutions. Resolving to pray the rosary daily would be a wonderful resolution to consider!

A good way to help keep the resolution spark alive is to have a special rosary that looks and feels great in your hand. We offer rosaries made from a number of natural materials with a variety of bead sizes and weights…. Some feel very substantial and some are very light weight. We have a rosary to suit almost everyone.

Take a look at our many offerings, and make the resolution to pray the rosary each day in 2021 and for decades to come!
I attended the presentation on the roof replacement tonight and I learned a lot. This project is more than just replacing the current roof. I knew there was water damaged inside the worship area but the underside of the porch roof outside of Marian Hall has rotted and needs to be repaired. There is a pipe going into the church building that was not sealed properly and is letting in water. The mortar of some of the bricks have holes and is letting in water. The roof of the church building has several layers on it and there is a great number of shingles missing. This is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg of issues that need to be addressed and taken care of before things get worse and the cost of repairs increases more.

I urge you to attend the next meeting on Tuesday, December 15 at 6:30pm in Marian Hall. The architects from Hord will show pictures of what the situation looks now and go over their suggestions of repairs. There is no push for money and pledges at the meeting. You should go to be educated on the structural issues of the building as a parishioner. This is OUR Church and not Fr. Robert’s. Pastors and associates come and go but we remain. We need to keep this 80 plus year-old building in the best of shape for another 80 plus years and longer for our future parishioners.
A great place to worship. Lot's of opportunities to pray and worship in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
Enjoyed this presentation, Fr. Robert

Today, Jan. 6, is the Feast of the Epiphany—the revelation of Jesus as the Son of God to the three Magi. We pray that like the Magi, we may be wise and always seek Jesus in everything that we do! This Feast Day celebrates the many ways Christ has made Himself known to the world—the visit of the Magi (Matthew 2:1-12), the baptism of Jesus (Mark 1:9-11) and the miracle at Cana (John 2:1-11). The visit of the Magi is emphasized on Epiphany Day and Christ's Baptism is celebrated the first Sunday that follows—this year on Jan. 9. While 2021 has been a challenging year, this is a season when we can still recognize and give thanks to God for the blessings He has bestowed upon us this past year and throughout our lives. It is also a good time to prayerfully consider how we might give back to God with a special year-end gift to the parish. Your gift to the Cathedral is needed and will make a difference. #cathedralmemphis

This morning, the Cathedral school and Parish Staff celebrated Las Posadas, a religious festival celebrated in Mexico and other Latino countries! Las Posadas, meaning "the inn" in English, commemorates the journey Joseph and Mary made from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a safe refuge where Mary could give birth to baby Jesus. Our 6th and 8th grade students reenacted Mary and Joseph's journey by visiting each classroom, knocking at the door, and being turned away. Each class joined in the procession after their room was visited, until the last stop, where Joseph and Mary were welcomed inside.

Following the procession, we gathered in Marian Hall for a celebration, where students took turns trying to break piñatas. During lunchtime, everyone enjoyed a sampling of delicious tamales prepared by the Coronado and Portes families. We look forward to continuing this tradition in 2022! Special thanks to Spanish teacher Senora Navarrette for coordinating this event. #myiccs #cathedralmemphis
