Freedom Prep Charter Schools

Due to inclement weather, Freedom Prep will dismiss all schools early today, November 29, 2022:

FPA Westwood Elementary (Parkrose) will dismiss at 1:00 p.m.
FPA Whitehaven Elementary (Millbranch) will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.
FPA Flagship Middle (Jonetta) will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.
FPA Whitehaven Middle (Brownlee) will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.
Freedom Prep High (Brownlee) will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.

Buses will be available at our early dismissal time for our regular bus riders.

The Freedom Prep Central Office will close today at 3:00 p.m.

In case you missed it! Freedom Prep Charter Schools received a tremendous $4.5 million gift from author, mother and philanthropist, MacKenzie Scott. We are beyond grateful to Ms. Scott for her generosity and for supporting our mission to prepare all students in grades pre-K through 12 to excel in college and in life.

We're thrilled to announce that Freedom Prep Charter Schools received a tremendous $4.5 million gift from author, mother and philanthropist, MacKenzie Scott. We are beyond grateful to Ms. Scott for her generosity and for supporting our mission to prepare all students in grades pre-K through 12 to excel in college and in life. This historic gift will go a long way in ensuring we actualize our vision that all students at Freedom Prep have the same competitive advantage as the most privileged children in America.

We will keep our community closely apprised as we determine how we will best utilize this gift and what efforts it will support across the network. We are committed, first and foremost, to ensuring our dollars impact the work that matters most – certifying that all children, inclusive of their rich racial diversities and socioeconomic backgrounds, are empowered to achieve at the highest level of education while in our care.
