💡Tips for maximizing your child’s tutoring session

1. Arrive to your tutoring session on time. Most sessions last between 1-2 hours, so it is imperative you arrive at your designated time.

2. Take lots of notes and include key details.

3. You may now bring your homework if you’d like. I’d love to help you with questions you may have.

4. Ask questions, and lots of them. This is how I can help you.

5. Be patient with yourself. Learning a new skill or subject takes time and lots of practice.

🥚 Hey family! Elle & Marie's Learning Station will be closed on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in observation of Easter. All sessions will resume on Tuesday, April 6.

🏕 All camp spots have been filled. Wow. Thank you so much. The love and support really has me in awe. I could not do this without your help and I hope you know that. Over the next few weeks I will be updating you on our space and new additions to our educational family.

🏕 Camp Lit!

🤯 I can’t even begin to tell you guys how excited I am to run a small camp this summer. It literally took me about a month to fully plan and organize so that I can accommodate no more than 5 students per camp.

☝🏾First up, we have our Literacy Camp which will be from June 7-June 25. Hours are 8a-3p, with drop off beginning at 7:45a.

👂🏾Listen, we are getting into phonological awareness, sight word instruction, learning to read, letter-sound identification, blends and a whole lot more.

✍🏾 I will host a Parent’s Meeting on Wednesday, April 28 for those who have chosen to enroll their child.

✋🏾 The very last day to enroll will be April 14.

🗣 There are some major changes coming to Elle & Marie’s Learning Station

✋🏾 1. I will NO longer accept custom Learning Board orders. (This does not apply to those who have ordered previously)

📋2. I will continue to make Learning Boards and purchase will be on a first come first serve basis. I will offer characters such as Disney Princesses, Nintendo, Marvel, Cocomelon, and many more.

🧮 3. I am in the process of creating sensory items for my younger learners and will be available to purchase soon. There will be no holds on items.

🗝 4. For my older learners (3-7) I am creating curriculum help or curriculum breakdown that will assist in your child gaining a better understanding of what is being taught.

👩🏽‍🏫 5. For my teachers, I will offer assistance with lesson planning and preparation for transitioning back into the classroom. (Also, help with classroom set up-whether online or in person)

🙏🏾 Lastly, I appreciate each and every one of you guys support and it is my prayer that you will continue to do so as I make these necessary changes. I only want to provide the best and high quality education for not only the children, but parents and teachers as well. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or feedback.

📙For my older learners I love to add information that will remain relative for years to come. This board is for a 3rd grader and it is filled with knowledge he can apply now and later in life.

Notice anything new? I do! 🙋🏾‍♀️ I added zippers for hands on sensory for my younger learners. Also, the sight words are ones that will be introduced in the beginning stages of Pre-K and Kindergarten.

📚 Simple, but very effective.

💡 With the upcoming holiday’s I have decided to adjust my schedule so that I can celebrate with my family and friends. Sessions are $25/hour and it is no longer mandatory for you to book at least 2 hours. Below you will find the times I have available.
