Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bars {Vegan + Low Carb + High Protein}
I attemped my first homemade protein bars today. The texture is similar to a Quest bar. I love that I can add different ingredients like nuts, dried fruit, or oats to spice them up! Best of all, the $$ I will save from the pre- boxed ones at the store I can use on that pedicure I've needed;)!

It's almost the new year and it's likely that some New Year's resolutions are on the mind. If you haven't considered group fitness or bootcamps in the past, this is the right time to do so...
BeFit has a new location for a BEGINNER'S BOOTCAMP on Tue/Thur @ 8:30am, being held just south of us at Rowlett Creek Park (behind Ogle Elementary in Craig Ranch). The first class is January 6th.
Amy Walker (some of you may know) is leading this location and is running a January promotion for 50% off - just $29 for the month of January! Amy already has a number of people signed up - including some that are new to regular workout programs and bootcamps. It is sure to be a positive and rewarding experience.
Amy has a BS in Exercise & Sports Science from Iowa State University, is a Group Certified Instructor, AND an Insanity Certified Instructor - over 20 years of experience in total! They will be great classes!
