Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community.
Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.
Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Day Care/Pre-School Center, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Day Care Facility in our local Welcome Kits.
It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 33% of new residents and families seek out a new Child Care Center shortly after their relocation. As such, approximately 1 out of 3 recipients of our Welcome Kits are actively seeking a new Child Care Center.
I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.

Our Mahwah, New Jersey Assistant Branch Manager, Richard, stopped by the Holy Cross Early Learning Center to welcome them as the newest Community Alliance Program member - and to open a few accounts!

Physical literacy is the ability, confdence, and desire to be physically active for life.
Nature dictates the development of physical literacy and can be challenged by disabilities or environmental struggles. But, even before birth, a child begins to move. They are programmed to do so as a biological survival instinct that is essential to human development.
Do you remember when your newborn's milestones began to unfold? Did You joyfully document the first time they rolled over, the first time they sat up, the first time they crawled or pulled themselves up? Do you remember the first time they stood on their own leading to the greatest accomplishment of their young lives- taking their first steps?
All of these phases occurred while your infant played with objects and people. This is the basis of social, emotional and physical development. As your child gets older, he/she will continue to develop, combine and apply these skill sets into every day life. He will kick pine cones, play horseback riding on dads back, run through the yard looking for a hiding sibling or simple try to see how low he or she can go under a rope tied to a doorknob. These childhood activities can provide the foundational skills needed when joining organized sports later in life.

by providing a program that is designed with the health needs of children in mind they can encourage them to make their own contribution to the development of their physical literacy by first associating fitness with fun.

Our Level 2 students had a fabulous time at Twinbrook Nursery on Monday. We took a hayride, picked pumpkins, and ate yummy donuts. What a great trip.

Last week’s STEAM camp focused on Technology. Everyone had a great week. We made bristle BOTS out of toothbrushes, closed circuit lights on our pictures, machine builds in small groups, unplugged coding, oobleck, water clocks, and so much more! We’re learning so much!
