This is a very special photo of four sixth graders (now 7th), who started at Pine Ridge as Kindergartners, and their hand print quilt. What a wonderful memory! Good luck to our 6th graders in their PUSD future.

Summer Bridge Work will be coming home next week. This is a way that our students can keep their brains working and learning!

Please consider attending this last parent/community meeting and provide your input in the decision making process. At the last meeting, which was held in the Pine Ridge library, we had no representation from Pine Ridge, except for me as principal. Your voice matters! Here is an opportunity to be a part of the PUSD vision.

Congratulations to Ms. Miles' Class for being in the TOP 10 in the Nation for Capit usage.....keep building up those literacy muscles. Ms. Miles' Class ROCKS THE RIDGE.

Don't forget. Open House tonight at PRS. I'll be at the BBQ with a hot dogs in front of the cafeteria......you can also see the reveal of our new murals which will be installed tomorrow.

Open House is on Thursday at 5:30 to 7:00! We are excited to share our learning with you!

School site council meets this afternoon at 4:30 -5:30 in the main office conference room. We are looking at goals and progress !

5th graders have to take a fitness test by the end of the year . This includes a mile run! I’m proud of how seriously they took this task….go 5th grade and Mr. Christian!

Our attendance is immensely improving! We got a shout out at the last board meeting and look at today….6 flags which means 6 classes with perfect attendance! When kids come to school they learn and have fun! Keep up the good work parents and panthers! We are rocking the Ridge!

Pine Ridfe staff celebrates staff March birthdays in 60s style! Not revealing who has been awesome since 1964! Just having fun at school for kids and each other like we do!

Spring Break is right around the corner! Our break begins this Friday, 3/29 and will continue through April 5th. School resumes on Monday, April 8th!

No school on Friday 3/15 and Monday 3/18! School is in session on 3/19!
