Hospita-LIT-y matters! That's why we celebrated National Travel & Tourism Week at Clinton National Airport yesterday! We had a great time welcoming travelers to Little Rock along with many of our friends in the hospitality industry. It was made even better by having Loblolly Creamery, the Mabelvale Elementary School drum line, and Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. there with us!

It is with much regret that we inform you that Mother Nature will not be cooperating with our plans for our #LRSD1District1Book culminating celebration this Saturday. We are, therefore, having to cancel the event. The grounds at the Clinton Center have been heavily saturated with rain and chances continue throughout tomorrow and Saturday, 100% and 70% respectively.

We thank you for your continued support of LRSD’s One District One Book reading efforts, but most importantly – your support of our wonderful students. But, we’re not going to let a little soggy weather “rain” on our enthusiasm. There are always reasons to celebrate #LRSDPowerofUS!

Keep posting those great photos and videos from activities related to the Toothpaste Millionaire, using hashtag #LRSD1District1BookTM.

Meantime, here are cute videos from Booker Arts Magnet students, reminding us what this work is all about! Enjoy!
