We hope you will visit us this weekend! Here's what one recent guest had to say about us in the The Sun News:

"A hidden gem in Lowell

The city of Lowell is fortunate to have a number of museums, but one of the city’s best kept secrets is the National Streetcar Museum located downtown at 25 Shattuck St.

Many folks don’t realize that Lowell had an extensive streetcar system right up until 1935 and this place is a great way to learn about electric rail transportation not only in Lowell, but across the country as well.

The entire second floor is dedicated to children with an extensive interactive play area. Our grandchildren spent over an hour there on a recent day when the temps outside felt like sub-zero. The National Streetcar Museum is open every weekend from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission for a family of four cost us only $10. It is indeed a great take on a cold winter’s day."

If you don't carry cash these days, purchase your tickets ahead of time at https://streetcarmuseum.eventbrite.com. We hope to see you soon!
