Our very own, Dr. Dibson Gondim, was a speaker for CAP Webinar
“Lessons Learned:Successful Adoption of Digital Pathology”! This webinar offered valuable insight such as overcoming key challenges, establishing the necessary infrastructure and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. It was designed to equip participants with practical strategies for successfully integrating digital pathology into routine clinical practice. Way to go, Dr. Gondim, on a job well done!

The Association for Academic Pathology (AAPath, formally APC) Consolidated Regional Meeting went off without a hitch this year at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Dr. Eyas Hattab and Executive Director, Alyssa Rimer both attended and made the most out of this wonderful trip! Alyssa was also able to participate in a sunset kayaking trip and a tide pool hike in Rancho Palos Verdes! Looks like fun!

MedLab Middle East in Dubai was a blast! The region’s leading medical laboratory event was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from February 3rd-6th. Chairman, Dr. Eyas Hattab presented “An immunohistochemical algorithmic approach to diagnosing adult gliomas” and UofL Visiting Pathologist, Dr. Aaron Han, presented “Histopathology requirements: Who, how, when” to a packed audience. Dr. Han, who is an Anatomic Pathology Consultant for HealthBay Clinics in Dubai, also provided an AI Update at CAP Education Day. Well done, everyone!
