Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 virus, we are canceling class for tonight. We at Lee’s Tae Know Do Academy-Louisville, take the well being of our students very seriously, and this is only a precautionary measure. Students, Master Ryan usually does not arrive until 6:15 or 6:20pm on Tuesday. So if there’s no Master Kyle or Master Dale to open the doors earlier, please wait. The same goes on Thursday if Master Ryan is subbing for Master Dale. Classes do not start until 6:30pm.

Have you ever attended one of the Louisville Lion Dance events and thought to yourself: "I really wish I could do something like that"? Have you ever seen a lion dance before? If not, are you interested in seeing one?
Well, do I have some great news for you!
On December 3rd, 10th, and 17th at 5:00PM we'll be holding a public demonstration. We'll also have auditions for anyone wanting to try out for the team as we're trying to have the team grow! Have any questions? This will be a perfect day to meet and greet some of our dancers to talk and ask any questions you may have.
On top of that, the team was founded by and run by Master Ryan Ho.

There is no age requirement but 8-16 year olds are preferred. Applying students must maintain a B average in school and have transportation to all events and practice sessions.
No experience is necessary, however, training in music, dance, or martial arts is a plus.

Those interested in drum, symbols or gongs must be able to maintain rhythm. Dancers will be asked to demonstrate flexibility and learn basic dance steps. Anyone auditioning may also present up to 2 minutes of their own dance, martial arts, or music performance but it is not required. There is no fee to attend this event.
Both of these events will be held at Cranehouse at 1244 S 3rd St, Louisville KY.
