So great to have all three cohorts in Moore Hall today. Cohort 28 worked on plans for their final year (exciting!), Cohort 29 participated in the inaugural ELP Mentoring & Career Development Program (more to come on this opportunity) and Cohort 30 celebrated the completion of first ELP class (congratulations!)

On the last day of Teacher Appreciation Week, ELP extends a huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible faculty! We are endlessly grateful for your hard work, dedication, and care in crafting resilient and dynamic educational leaders. The impact you have on our students is immense, and we hope you know we appreciate all that you do, year round.

Last night, Cohort 27 had their last in-person class ever! We are so grateful to have seen each of them grow into incredible educational leaders over the years, ready to make a difference in the educational community. Cohort 27, we wish you the best of luck on finishing your dissertations, and see you at graduation!

Drum roll please, the winner of the ELP Cohort Competition, with a whopping 90% cohort participation, is… COHORT 7 🎉 Congratulations!

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who participated! With your help we were able to exceed our goal of $50,000, raising $50,820 to date. ELP is so grateful for your continued participation and support, and for the impact it echoes across the educational leadership community.

This week we are highlighting Lynn Kim-John, Director of UCLA Educational Leadership Program (UCLA Educational Leadership Program (Ed.D.)). In the chapter titled “Equity-Oriented Science Professional Development,” she writes, “Our partnership work has never been more important than it is now in infusing social justice science teaching into our schools and communities and building toward a more socially just society” (p. 124).
