As the school year is coming to an end, we would just like to thank all of the faculty, staff, parents and students for another amazing year here at Montclair Prep!!! You have all worked so hard and it really shows. Congratulations to all seniors on graduation, and good luck on finals to all students! We hope you have a wonderful summer and can't wait to see you all again in September!!!

MONTCLAIR'S SUMMER SESSIONThe six-week summer session at Montclair has been offered, in grades 6-12, for the past thirty years. It is a complete program of academic subjects. Credits earned during the summer are accepted to fulfill graduation requirements in math, science, English, and social studie



Last night was our Annual Academic Awards Night here at Montclair Prep. Students were recognized in all academic categories, as well as Students of the year for both their grad and for the entire Student Body. A HUGE Congratulations to the varsity baseball team for winning their playoff game Friday over Notre Dame. Their next game is tomorrow vs. Sierra Canyon at Montclair Prep at 3:15. Good Luck Mounties!!!


A BIG BIG BIG Congratulations to the Girls Softball Team who are Alpha League Champions!!!!! The girls play in the first round of playoffs tomorrow, Thursday, at 3:00 at home. Come out and support our Lady Mounties!!

This week, May 2nd-13th, AP Exams will begin at Montclair Prep! Students will participate in Calculus, U.S. History, Government, Economics, Biology, European History, English Literature, English, Chinese, and Physics. We are so proud of how well our students have excelled academically this year. Congratulations on all of your hard work, you have truly earned all of the recognition and praise you have received!


Congratulations to the girls’ softball team for their victory over Brentwood School 20-0. The girls are now 3-0 in league and their next game is today at home for 1st place! Good luck Lady Mounties! Congratulations to the varsity baseball team who defeated Calvary Chapel yesterday 16-1! Finally, congratulations to the boys JV baseball team who won its 4th straight game 6-2!!! Way to go Mounties, we are so proud!!!


Attention all MCP Baseball Alumni! The Alumni baseball game will be held on Saturday, May14. Call or send coach Steele an RSVP if you would like to participate.


Starting on Wednesday, student government will be sponsoring the Pennies for Patients campaign until May 2nd. The funds, collected during a three-week period, benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Everyone who participates is a winner! Students please fill your money bank each day. We are looking forward to a very successful campaign, so please participate by making your donations each day. Thank you!!

Race to Nowhere | Changing Lives One Film at a Time

Join the Montclair Parents' Association tonight, March 3rd, in an evening showing of "Race to Nowhere," a documentary examining the pressures of students, teachers, and parents in our education system. Dr. Katherine Sellwood will lead a discussion after the film. Thanks to everyone for taking the lead in bringing the film to your community. Shining a light on the issues the film raises helps create the movement our youth and educators need.

Pick up a flyer in the office or simply tell them you're supporting MCP and Numero Uno will donate 20% of the proceeds to MCP. We'll see you at Numero Uno this weekend!!!
