Writing Los Angeles

Former private writing school for the brave, enthusiastic, and talented. Still sharing writing and instructor news and Facebook home to Submission Sunday.

Operating as usual

Save the date! Friday June 14th I'm doing an online version of the first day of the desert screenwriter's retreat from April.....with Dominique Buda - my writing partner, editor and friend! (she is a genius who always has ideas on direction or how to fix a story.)

Ever since the desert retreat with Kathryn Winslow, people have been asking for online instruction - especially the logline workshop that we did on the first day - and I'm running out of reasons not to do it! (because I'd have to figure out Google Classroom???)

So....stay tuned...we'll have 3 or 4 spots for $249 each...that's the plan right now! And each writer will get about 45 minutes to workshop their logline, main character & the basic structural beams of their screenplay - a map, basically. Pure gold, really.

Let me know if that's something you or someone you know would be interested in! : )
