GMS Fest 2023 is almost here…our celebration of student creativity on Tuesday, May 23 features a showcase of student work in C Hall from 5-6 and a presentation in our beautiful new Performing Arts Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
We’ll also have music provided by Christian Celestine, food and merch sales, and a raffle for cool gift baskets and tickets to see Druski and Steve Lacy in LA! See you there!! 🍿🎟️🎬🎞️🎤

LAUSD’s first-ever, district-wide film festival is today! Not only did GMS students submit films, but two of our seniors worked as paid interns this school year to help make it happen. Come celebrate the creativity of LA’s youth!

Congratulations to Cleveland’s Get Lit poetry team for making it to the Get Lit Classic Slam finals!! Waiting for the competition to start at the Ace Theater in DTLA. Shout out to GMS students Mateo Vejar and Carissa Foss, and coaches Ana’s Thackeray and Abigail Mazenod!!

Our senior video production students enjoyed a private tour of Company 3 in Santa Monica today. Company 3 provides post production, color grading and location services for feature films, commercials, music videos and television. Thanks to Mr. Crossley for setting it up!
