The first water day of the summer was a splash. Sensory play is always one of our children's favorites.

ALLLLL ABOARD!! 🚂 Today the campers loaded the Sunrail towards an adventure to Winter Park . They climbed a massive tree and had a picnic.

🤠 This past weekend was our Annual Kiddie Academy National Conference in Austin, TX. It was exciting to return to this in-person event after two years 🥰 As always, we came away inspired by listening to fabulous guest speakers, Robert Herjavec and Vanessa Brantley-Newton, hearing from our corporate executive team about enhancements under development to our curriculum and networking with teachers, directors & franchisees from coast-to-coast 🇺🇸 And our favorite highlight of the weekend was having our very own MS. KARINA from our sister academy honored with a nomination for Director of the Year ✨ We're so lucky to have such an amazing leader as part of our family 💜

We want to congratulate Ms. Symyra for graduating from Lake Brantley High School. Ms. Symyra is leaving us and we hate to see her go but we wish her the best of luck on her new journey.

🇺🇸Memorial Day is a day of remembrance. Thank you to the military men and women who courageously gave their lives in honor of our country. While young children may not be able to understand the reasons behind why we celebrate, it is important for us to teach them that our military heroes deserve respect. We are celebrating Artsy Thursday! Art projects give young children a foundation for critical and creative thinking. Get crafty by using different materials found in your home to create a masterpiece.

Today is Work Together Wednesday! At Kiddie Academy, we like to work together, build together and learn together. Celebrate at home by making your garden a family affair. Work together to plant flowers and vegetables to enjoy this summer!

Today we celebrate Tasty Tuesday with fun and yummy activities about healthy foods. Teaching children about proper nutrition leads to a healthier life as they grow. Inspire other parents by sharing your favorite healthy recipe in the comments below!

For the first day of the Week Of The Young Child, the children learned all about drums. They listened to "Drums, Drums, Drums" which is packed with rhythms, echoes, clapping, tapping, moving, and playing. They learned to recognize the sights and sounds of many different drums and to get up and move your body to the rhythms.
