Travel South on Trans Pride weekend and join us for a Long Beach Lagoon Park Circuit! Our Trainer Monk / will coach you through a full body timed interval workout that incorporates a mix of calisthenics, strength/resistance exercises using various equipment, as well as some cardio sprinkled in.

New schedule effective immediately!

***Please RSVP for T/W/TH Evening Zoom classes***

The latest changes are:
1) Tuesdays on the hill start at 5pm
2) Wednesday speed and power work starts at 5pm, and we added stairs to the rotation
3) Wednesday evening Zoom class starts at 6:15pm

All workouts are open to all, first timers and beginners are welcome. All times are in Pacific Time Zone. Please message me for a link to the online Zoom classes.


Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 5am Park Workouts are in Signal Hill. Bring a mat and a set of dumbbells if you have them. These classes are streamed online.

Tuesday’s 5pm running class meets at Hill St & Temple Ave in Signal Hill. Walkers welcomed!

Wednesdays 5pm will rotate Hill sprints meeting at Discovery Well Park, Sand Sprints meeting at Coronado Ave & Ocean Blvd, and Stairs also meeting at Coronado Ave & Ocean Blvd.

Thursday 5pm meets at Coronado Ave & Ocean Blvd on the Bluff. This will be a bodyweight workout with cardio mixed in.

Fridays on the Fly are intended to be used for workouts or hanging out. They can be functional training at the track, ocr conditioning at the beach, mobility sessions, bike rides, breathing workshops, or other community building activities.

Saturday 8am meets at Coronado Ave & Ocean Blvd on the Bluff. Bring a mat and a set of dumbbells if you have them. This workout will be streamed online.

Sunday workouts vary each week. Look for weekly updates for location details and time.

This Thursday 11/24, regular classes are canceled. Come join us at 7am for a morning beach run or walk on the packed sand along the water. I’ll be using this time to recognize Indigenous peoples but feel free to honor whatever peoples you’d like to respect on this day!

Another small schedule change! Instead of Wednesday Sprints at 4:45pm, we are moving the time to 5:00pm, therefore pushing the evening Zoom class to 6:30pm. And Wednesday night Zoom classes will happen every other week.

The in-person 5pm class will be a speed and power class rotating weekly between beach/sand sprints, interval hill sprints, and stair climbing.

Wednesday mornings remain the same: 5am class in the park and on Zoom.

Hey Y’all! This Saturday’s class is a fundraiser! No equipment needed for this fun full body bodyweight workout!

Please come out and support Sowing Seeds of Change in their LB GIVES campaign to help them raise money to make their urban farm wheelchair accessible.

SSC is on a mission to empower transition-age individuals with disabilities and foster youth, ages 18-22, to discover and actively engage in Long Beach's local food system so that they may acquire the necessary job-readiness skills that will enable them to secure paid employment positions within the food system.

Tomorrow is a trail run at Crystal Cove! I’ll throw a number like 6 out there for mileage, but you can do more or less! Next race up for some of us is a 5.3 miles at Conquer the Bridge. It won’t be on trails, but it’s a “hill!”

Tomorrow’s trail starts mostly downhill with a couple rolling hills but don’t be fooled because it finishes with an decent incline to get back. This is a state park so no dogos 🐾

1) An added in person resistance training class on the Bluff Monday evenings
2) The Sunday Mobility class is on temporary pause but may pop up some time(s)! This will allow us to start Sunday Funday early in the day to beat the summer heat 🔥

All workouts are open to all, first timers and beginners are welcome. All times are in Pacific Time Zone. Classes consist of resistance training (using mostly dumbbells) with some cardio training. Please message me for a link to the online Zoom classes.

Beach run tomorrow! Do you need a recovery walk or nah? You’ve got options- walk/jog/run the path, or I highly recommend getting that work done in the sand! Also, add some stairs in if you’re not sick of them by now!
