Saturday, August 4 is the day and we are again going to feature a student mass choir and a teacher mass choir, and a performance by Pacific Standard Time. Thank you to all the amazing teachers, students, and jazz enthusiasts who came to the 2nd Annual Long Beach Vocal Jazz Academy this past Saturday! It was an incredible day, filled with great music and learning. A special thank you to our outstanding faculty and staff: Matt Falker, Jessica Falker, Gerhard Guter, Ian Brekke, Sean Fitzpatrick, Sammy Kestenholtz, and Marcus Carline. Also, a world of gratitude to my wonderful Cal State Long Beach students who gave of their time & talents: Gracelyn Hedrick, Angelica Villarreal, Ashley Miner, Attia Arenas, Marisa DiCamillo, Terrence Taylor, Morgan Davi, Jonny Arenas, Tama Shutts, Christian Valdez, Colin Monaco, Patrick Malone, Julian Esparza, and Zane Johnson.
