West Noble High School Student Council

Last night, Wawasee High School traveled to West Noble High School to play football. When I got there the ticket lady was really nice, said "Thank you," and told me to enjoy my evening at Charger field. The gentleman at the gate made sure to show me where the programs were and told me I could walk around to the visitors section two different ways. When I was seated in the stand and the game was almost ready to start, I noticed the West Noble cheerleaders came over welcome our cheerleaders to West Noble High School and gave them mini cupcakes. They also posed together for a picture. When the game started, the very first song West Noble High School band played was not the national anthem but was our school fight song. The announcer told all of the West Noble Charger fans and the Wawasee fans to stand for our school song - not theirs, ours. After that they asked us to remain standing while they played the West Noble fight song, and then the national anthem. At the end of the game their football team invited our football team to the middle of the field to join them in a prayer circle. Their fans formed a tunnel from the gates of the field halfway down the walk back to the locker room and cheered our football team on as they walked through before they cheered their own team on. It was the most amazing display of sportsmanship and just all out-and-out kindness that I have ever seen at any sporting event at any time in my entire life. I am so impressed with West Noble High School. If anyone knows anyone from West Noble thank them for being representatives of what is good and what is still possible in this world. Thank you, West Noble, for truly a wonderful evening!

We have been collecting toy donations throughout the past couple of weeks. Today we had the opportunity to go and purchase even more toys, clothes, and other needed items for our area children in need. Special thanks go to all those that donated and to all of you that work the Miracle Tree system. You do an awesome job and help so many people! We're glad we got to be a small part of that this year. Thank you!!

[11/26/14]   The West Noble Elementary Student Council has a huge project going on: Collecting Lids!! Clean lids can be dropped off at the elementary. These will then be recycled and made into benches and picnic tables for the playground! Isn't that awesome?! On the West Noble Guidance Counselors page there is a list of lids that they can and cannot collect. They need to collect 8,200 lbs. of lids to make this happen... help them out!

I believe there is also some donation cans at the concession stand @ the HS

[11/26/14]   Donate to Miracle Tree today!! Those toys will be given to those in this area that can not afford to have Christmas. On December 7th WNHS Student Council Members will be taking a little toy shopping trip. Any monetary donations will go straight to buying the toys for the kids.

Students: If you bring in a you you will have Pizza Hut on the day before Christmas Break...
