You don't have to have working knowledge of Montessori to join us❤ thats our job! We offer a unique experience to learn indoors and out in an innovative education program serving children in the North Kansas City metro area.

Our class is exploring our new Montessori Knobbed Cylinders, designed to assist children with perceptions of preliminary mathematical concepts, such as weight and also indirectly prepares students for writing, as they begin using their fingers in a pincer grip, necessary later for holding pencils.

It also lays the foundation for future work in mathematics and language, as children learn words such as ‘height’ and ‘diameter’.

"T" is for Turtle, but not because we color an alphabet page. Letter sounds are taught before letter recognition in Montessori, allowing children to have an understanding of the sound a letter makes before learning the name of a letter. Independent reading can start earlier and with more confidence.

Today is Teacher Appreciation Day. We are thankful for our teachers who stay late, plan amazing activities, work weekends and tirelessly clean so that our children have an experience like no other. We all remember teachers that encouraged, invested and shaped us. Take time to appreciate and pray for one of them today.
