First Steps in Music Classes

It has been a long time since I have posted. I can tell by my profile picture!

I am tossing around the idea with a few friends of 20-30min online lessons a few times a week.

Using the First Steps in Music Curriculum. Being tuneful, artful and beatful.

My own children will be helping me, think of it as a morning music workout show. The lessons will be primarily for pre school- grade 2 (ages 3-8) but please feel free to invite friends of all ages. Comment below if you think this is something your family would participate in!

(Ps: my other life is being a a Reiki Practioner. I am currently designing mindful meditations and morning energy ramp ups for kids and plan to stream that too!!)

I have always been a fan but these past few days have been a HUGE reminder why.

Hello everyone! I am considering starting back up. Maybe 1-2 classes a week. Let me know if you would be interested!

It's with a heavy heart that announce my recent job acquisition. Starting Monday I will be taking on the role of Instructional Coach/Enrichment Coordinator/Music Teacher at Kids R Kids in South Riding. What this means, is that I will teach 1 more class on Tueaday, January 5th and refund you for the rest of Janaury. However, if you would like to continue and finish out your class on Saturdays in January, I would more than welcome you. I apologize for this unexpected announcement. I wasn't expecting this opportunity, but it is the best move for me and my family at this time. Please don't hesitate to write me with any questions. I will also have information for you for other local teachers I recommend!

Unless I hear of any other attendees, classes on Saturday for the rest of the year are cancelled. Let me know if you plan to attend any class other than your scheduled one so I may plan accordingly!

I didn't hear of any make ups, so the kids and I are busting out of here! See you either on Saturday or Tuesday! Our last 2 classes for December!

Please let me know if you plan to attend tomorrow's class as a make-up. Need to plan out my morning otherwise!

All classes are currently schedule for Tuesday at 10:15 and 11:15 and Saturday at 9:30. if you are interested in trying a class or rescheduling to Thursday for a makeup please notify me as soon as possible. No drop in outside of those time will accepted without communication for this session. Session 2 will start late January/early February.

Just to remind everyone, classes this week will ONLY be on Tuesday, 10:15 (toddlers 3-5), 11:15 (Babies and early toddlers 6mon- under 3) If you want to come at 9:30 or 1:30 I need to know as I won't be preparing for class without definite Attendees.

For all who showed interest in my music classes. Currently, I have students enrolled in classes on Tuesday at 10:15 (toddlers 3-5), 11:15 (babies/early toddlers 6 mon.-under 3), 1:30 (open ages) and Saturday at 9:30am (Open ages). Please let me know if you would like to participate in a class on Thursday at any of those times OR if you would like to participate in one of the Tuesday classes. Your first class is ALWAYS free! Rates: (First class is FREE)

$20 per class drop in rate (subject to availability) $10 per additional child.

$17 per class for 4 weeks paid upfront ($10 per additional child)

$15 per class for 8 weeks paid upfront (25% savings) ($7 for 1st additional child. $5 for 2nd additional child)

Age Groupings and Class times
Classes can be organized as follows, but can differ slightly, depending on need.

45 minute classes ( 15 min reserved for instrument exploration/socialization.

(1 -3 years)
(3 - 5 years)
(Mixed Ages)
