Talented Russian nature photographer Vadim Trunov has had close encounters with squirrels before, but this is the first time we've seen his photos of squirrels playing or shooting photos of each other!

Hello All .... hope everyone is well and having fun !!! We are still working out how to do lessons ....so far private lessons and semi private lesson are the most popular..... Meantime I found this fun photo I took in Florida years and years ago....so glad I took some time to clear out my files in the darkroom. This photo was taken before Digital !!!! no photoshop , no airbrush....This is real ; )

I want to share these notes I found as we opened the the school .... I would love to know what you thing ......
I think it is really Magical …….this proves I need to journal more and now maybe Blog ; )

I come home after changes at photo works today and discussions about possibly starting a school , “Photo Central “…….and what comes on TV but ‘Field of Dreams’ and what is the first line I hear …. “build it and they will come . “

11 January 2014 It’s time ; )
Time to stop thinking and considering and start trying and doing….
So much to do , so little time
take a breath , concentrate….. Leesburg School of photography
Why do I want to start a photography school ?
My father gave me a Brownie camera when I was 5 years old … and ever since ….
I notice my surroundings as if I am capturing the moment ….I want everyone to notice their surroundings and enjoy.
I got my husband interested in photography when I was working for Leesburg Photography Center in 1978, and we needed help building and setting up a darkroom . He was a theater Major when I met him at Virginia tech , so he was always dealing with lighting , set design , and directing. After working in the darkroom he fell in love all over again ; )
Working with Light …there is nothing like it .
We began photoworks against all odds and despite almost everyone telling us we were crazy .
40 years later , we are still here , and we still love our work and it’s challenges.
My father passed on last year , and along with sorting though photographs and memories ,
I am acknowledging how time flies before we realize it . If I really want to create a photography school what better time than now ! ; )
lets see what happens ….

It is never too soon to start learning about photography ; ) most important is to have fun !!!

Hi all....Sending out positive healing energy to all..... We contacted Corona and told her to be gone by May so we can keep our teaching schedule.....we will let you know if she listens to us and which classes we can hold when ; )
Meanwhile I have a question for you ....I am sorting thru older family photos and came across these two that I love with my father and my brother .... If you put on your editing hat , which one would you pick to frame...just for fun
