Kamp Kovid offers in-person assistance for virtual learners K-6th... making both students AND parent WHAT IS A LEARNING POD? HOW DO I SIGN MY CHILD UP FOR A POD?
The Learning Pods are designed to give each student his/her own fun, socially-distant area for studying, reading, testing, and attending virtual classroom meetings. Our Tutor (Miss Beth) provides all materials needed to keep students on track of daily assignments and schedules as well as additional support in math and reading. All students need is a Chromebook, headphones and a positive mindset! E

The full-time school celebrations didn't last very long for y'all. *insert sad horn sound here. For that I am heartbroken. It's become apparent KAMP KOVID is needed now more than ever - so I am OPENING BACK UP AGAIN and will STAY OPEN thru the end of the semester.Our kids have had to deal with enough changes already so I decided not to pursue a position with the LSR7 district this year.
Please message me to get back on the schedule for a spot in one of my Learning Pods or if you're new - we can chat about what you need to keep your sanity.

Well, hello there!
My name is Beth Fredlund (Miss Beth). π I'm glad you clicked on my page.
A little about me:
I have been teaching kids for over 13 years. 12 as a private voice and guitar instructor with my studio The Rock Room, and last year I worked as an Elementary Reading Interventionist with the LSR7 district. I loved it. Best job ever. Then, Covid happened and everything changed. I needed to be home. I could see you needed help.
My goal in creating the learning pods this year was to provide a place where STUDENTS can be successful with online learning and PARENTS can keep their sanity. Ha! My job is to assist students with keeping organized, staying on task, turning in daily assignments and attending meetings on time. All while staying socially distant nestled in their own, fun, camp-themed workspaces! (Check out photos)
Hey, maybe you're nailing it. For that, I say WAY TO GO!! But...
Maybe it's not going so well?
Maybe there's been some tears?
Maybe you don't have the time to sit with your child all day?
