Happy to introduce to you our Secretary, Felicia Russo!!
Get to know Felicia⬇️
Felicia’s loves to be adventurous with her friends, whether it’s an abandoned barn with loose floorboards and rusty nails (don’t worry she has her tetanus shots 😊), muddy fields with electrical fences she has to crawl under, or woods she gets to trail blaze.
On a chill day, you can find Felicia blasting the jams and singing singing heart out, working on some song writing, playing ukulele, hanging with friends, or watching shows with her sister
Felicia’s favorite snack is Cheez-its or Kettle Cooked Salt and Vinegar Chips
The Lord has been teaching Felicia to trust and depend on Him for her future
If Felicia could go anywhere in the world she would travel to The United Kingdom- “have you seen those views! And the accents are pretty cool too 😝”
be still // this beautiful and truth filled piece was created by Kylee McGuiness, class of 2020.
This piece was inspired by Psalm 46 and serves as a reminder that in times of chaos she can be still because of who He is.
Excited to kick off our “meet the team” series with our Editor-In-Chief, Camryn Burkholder!!
Did you know!?
Cam would have to say her craziest adventure was… going to India for 10 days🇮🇳
When she has a chill day, you will find her playing with her dog, hanging out with friends and or watching movies
Cam’s go-to favorite snack is hands down salt and vinegar chips
If she could go ANYWHERE in the world, she would love to go to Greece!
The Lord has recently been teaching Cam of the importance and power of prayer. “Prayer is not a passive response, it's a powerful answer!!”

We are excited to highlight Katelyn’s piece in V.14 of Charge Magazine!
The title of her piece is “Prodigal Daughter”, a poem. —“This poem doesn’t have a specific style, but rather flows as a way of expressing the significance of what God has done in her life and what He can do for others. “
Katelyn has been blind since birth, only able to see light and dark. She has learned to understand the world around her through her other senses. Recently, Katelyn started to enjoy time exploring God‘s creation. She especially likes spring time when a gentle breeze blows, the birds sing their joyful songs, the warm sun seems to shine brighter than before, and new life begins.
Katelyn has always loved words, and would occasionally write for fun. But she didn’t take writing seriously until she started her communication degree at LBC. Katelyn’s love for words grew even more, and writing became her passion, her coping mechanism, her joy, and most importantly a vehicle for sharing the hope and healing that comes with knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Katelyn’s inspiration for this piece came last spring in the middle of quarantine. Katelyn and her family were live streaming their Sunday church service, and the pastor was talking about the story of the prodigal son. Katelyn was moved so deeply by the compassionate love of the Father who runs after His son like a Shepherd runs after a lost sheep. She knew she had to write about it. not only does God run after us and pull us out of our sin, He forgives our sins and gives us eternal life through the work of Jesus Christ, His son Who laid down his life for ours to pay the price for our sins. That’s the kind of love Katelyn never want to forget!
Be sure to check out Katelyn’s piece in the V.14 Charge Magazine. Thank you Katelyn for sharing your gift with others!
Throwing it back, but not too far back to V. 10!
"Still Truths" & "Change" by Christine Elliott // v.10
Christine began to craft “change” while on tour in Spain with the LBC Chorale in the fall of 2017. It was a time of great political unrest and division amidst Spain and Christine was able to observe several aspects of it throughout her time there. As Christine walked though beautiful Spanish gardens in the stillness one evening, she was reminded of the necessity of change in this life and the truth of God’s consistency.
Volume 14 of Charge Magazine is finally here!
WE CANNOT KEEP THIS COVER FROM YOU ANY LONGER!!
here’s a little glimpse of what it will look like!
We are so excited to share about the talented artists in this new volume and I hope you see God's goodness throughout the pages.
