I need the chromatic one. How to get?
Hey Dave, are you selling your "tuning tuning tuning" video still or an updated handpan tuning video?
Going live RIGHT NOW! with Daniel Timtim and Dave's Island Instruments, check it out
Fun times chatting with my buddy Daniel TimTim of Dave's Island Instruments about music, ukulele, and my new album.
🌸 FUN FACT: this is a prototype of the -50ME series before we finalized the design. Some of our dealers take the prototypes and one-time versions off of our hands and into yours. (The one pictured here is at Dave's Island Instruments)
Our -50ME series is a classic solid Cedar top combined with Macassar Ebony back and sides. Cedar provides a mellow, warm sound we know and love while the more dense, heavier tonewood of Macassar Ebony provides the resonance.
We sourced the Ebony Macassar tonewood from Indonesia. It has striking dark wood with hues of red and blonde that match up nicely with the solid cedar top.

A “Share”.... As a follow up to several requests for info, I’m sharing here a video (10 min) on the Handpan stands that I have and use, but first.....
“WELCOME TO THE HANDPAN FAM” to 7 of my friends! In the less than 2 years of having my pans and being the only one in this particular area to have one, I’ve introduced this art form to so many people and these 7 just fell in love, took those first steps and are now proud owners of handpans!
So Congratulations to Floridians Christine Schierozek, Dan Gorny, Cheryl Lynn Patton, Linda Osborne, Molly Brown, and Fredi Daikus Edmiston and to my Northern Virginia friend Charlie Mahjoobi as well.
Between them, they’ve purchased 8 incredible pans from the extremely talented builders Terence Jay from Nirvana Handpan /Acolyte (3), Curtis Smith from PanSmith Instruments (2), John Hand from TerraTonz, Dean Richardson from Zephyr Handpans and Jacob Lee from Axiom Handpans. I’m so excited for all 7 of these people and the amazing journeys that these pans will take them on. You Handpan 🛸players??? YOU know what I’m talking about!!
Anyway..... now.... onward to the video ....with a shout out for Quechua stools from Decathlon USA, David Beery from Dave's Island Instruments, Gibraltar Hardware, and Thomas Ben Tov from Aviot Woodcraft in Israel. 🤗🛸🎶

I love Long Beach! It doesn't get much better than cuddling my mom's sweet pup and attending the Long Beach Yoga Festival🧘🏾♀️ Our first stop at the fest was the Dave's Island Instruments booth - I have been so excited for my kiddo and husband to play a handpan since the day I met Dave and played one myself. The handpan (hang drum) is such a beautiful and versatile family-friendly instrument. Dave makes these amazing drums himself at his shop in Lakewood. If you haven't been, go STAT!🎶Check out my stories for a few video clips🎥 Happy Sunday!
