These children’s books are incredible bonding opportunities for you and your child. Each book can facilitate discussions about faith and/or purpose!
1. “Amielle-Rose: A Tale of Faith, Courage, and Triumph” was the Number 1 New Release in Christian Early Readers and currently has a 5 ⭐️ rating on Amazon. It’s an engaging story about Faith through the eyes of a child!!
2. The newest release “Amielle-Rose: The Gift of Purpose” illustrates a child’s journey of discovering the true meaning of Purpose.
A message from our Director:
While navigating the current pandemic, we have been working diligently to continue providing high quality care in a safe and nurturing environment. We are currently short staffed due to many variables out of our control and working to replace Staff members. In the meantime, we recognize that our response time may be slower than usual and this is not our intent.
We are truly working on this and would like to apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you in advance for your patience in your communication/inquiries with us.
Thank you and we hope you are staying safe and healthy during this unpredictable time. 🤍

Today.....this happened 🥰 My 2020 PA4K Graduates 🎓
This class was super special. Half of these cuties were my VERY FIRST group of babies when we opened 5 years ago. I watched these cuties grow. Every one of these amazing children have a special place in my heart. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be involved in such a vital time in the growth and development of their early years. **Covid Style Drive By...Outdoor Graduation

Our PA4K Family believes in love, acceptance, and diversity. We strive to teach children about the beauty in others and their differences. Our Preschool doesn't operate on anger and hatred. We advocate for equality and we understand that children are so precious & innocent and they will ultimately change the world. Let's raise them to be leaders that recognize injustice and take a stand for change! 🤎💜💙💚💛🧡❤ 🤎💜💙💚💛🧡❤
Every birthday that occurs in the Preschool, we try to make it a huge deal and celebrate with the kids. Due to the current pandemic, our school is closed and we also heard her bday party was cancelled. It was already incredibly hard to close but it seems like the kids continue to suffer and it truly hurts our hearts. We made a video composed of Staff and students to wish our Jazzy a Happy Birthday. Her parents sent us this video to show her reaction. If this doesn't make your day, I don't know what will. 4 LIFE 😎

I just wanted to share a few tips on ways you can help slowly transition your child out of the screen dependency phase. I'd love to hear any thoughts or other tips any of you may have as well!
Side note: **That helicopter tried to play me and I almost stopped sharing BUT I told myself that this message will go forth regardless! lol not today!
It is vital to find a happy balance between screen-time, rest, learning, and other everyday activities. Screen dependency is fairly prevalent these days and we just want to express the importance of limiting the amount of time your child spend on some sort of electronics. You can find other activities that keep them busy like sports, extra curricular activities, arts & crafts, or just plain time outside to burn off the extra energy. Trust me, I get it. It is so much easier to just let them enjoy their electronics, but it hurts them in the long run. I know this first hand. My Husband and I allowed our daughter to use electronics as often as she liked because it was what she liked and it was easy to do. However, it became evident that her academics began to suffer, she started to become antisocial, and she even stopped eating properly because she was so focused on getting back to her electronics. It was a disturbing hindrance so we took action and began to see an abrupt shift in her behavior. I don't try to just give advice because it sounds good , I try and help people avoid going through some of the things I have seen firsthand from families in my child care or experienced myself. Do you believe in screen dependency?
Screen dependency is a very real thing. It is vital that adults set clear boundaries and limit screen time. Children will do what we allow. No, it is not easy and every child will not respond the same to boundaries. Some children may comply without a hitch and some children will give you a run for your money. However, taking the initiative will greatly benefit the child(ren) and they will thank you later.
I have seen how easy it is to just assume a child is a lost cause and "too difficult " to deal with but the reality is, they were not born that way...so what can we do to help?? Yes there are children that are born with some disabilities and there are tools that are being made available to help each and every child. On the other hand, you have children that are acting out as a direct response to something they were exposed to, and do not know how to handle. The longer we ignore the root of the problem and pass the children off, the more we will hear about suicides being on the rise in young children. It is so incredibly heartbreaking. I know we can make a difference if we start to move in love and LISTEN to our youth. Some have had terrible experiences and need adult intervention to remedy the problem. Some just need you to TAKE THE ELECTRONICS AWAY. Show them what life is really about and the beauty in the world. Some of my most memorable moments involved being outside or doing something with my loved ones. What about yours? 💜
I posted a couple weeks back about the importance of developing a love for learning with your child. I had a few people ask for tips on things they can do in an effort to build that learning foundation. Here are some fun tips I wanted to share. As I stated in the video, the possibilities are really endless. Life itself is a learning experience...daily activities always present an opportunity to teach & learn 💛💛
About Last Night.... so beautiful, unforgettable & surreal. These incredible Women showed up and reminded us exactly why we chose to honor them. Continue to shine and be an inspiration to us ALL. I was Blessed last night. 6th Annual White Rose Awards in the books 🙏🏽 @ The Riveter
Are we building our Youth??
Mothers, Fathers, Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents, Child Care Providers, Cousins, Sisters, Brothers, etc... we are in position to help or harm these children. Personally, I believe that these children may be small but they have rights and feelings that should be acknowledged and respected. I feel there is a balance that should be maintained. Teach a child to be respectful but also show them that how they feel matters. How do you do that?? By LISTENING when they speak, and not just brushing them off. Just because it seems so minuscule to you doesn't mean that it doesn't mean the world to them. Their feelings matter, and the way you treat them now can set the stage for how they view life and how they allow themselves to be treated.
Did you know that children sometimes misbehave purely out of boredom?? I was kicked out of my first Preschool and I actually remember taking time( which I had WAY too much of) and finding ways I could do something sneaky and get away with it. This sounds terrible but honestly I WAS BORED so I sought out adventure! I would complete the work quickly because it came fairly easy to me....that opened the door for the boredom and hence my bright ideas to combat said boredom. LOL! When I work with children that seem to be having behavioral problems, I find it very important to monitor the child and see what is triggering the behavior. The only way to truly help the child is to find out exactly WHAT is triggering the behavior issue. Whether it is boredom, lack of sleep, learning disability, etc. as an educator, it is my duty to identify it and implement a plan to address it. Every child is not the same and they should be treated as individuals. This is not just behavior wise but academically, socially, and emotionally.
One mistake I made when first starting out was not realizing the importance of routine for children. I mean, they are so young, they can't REALLY be affected by breaks in a routine right?? WRONG! Children develop a sense of security and responsibility when you develop a routine for them and maintain it.
DO YOU FOLLOW A ROUTINE IN YOUR HOME? IF SO, DID YOU SIT DOWN AND TAKE TIME TO PLAN IT? OR JUST DO WHAT CAME NATURAL?
So of course Ms. Nicole has to try out the new toy right?? Do you notice how anxious children are to have you join them while playing. They LOVE it! You are entering into their world and it makes them feel important in many ways. Listen to their laughter and the excited screams....music to my ears ❤️
