Who’s This? It’s a Dylan Cottle Doodle!! I was watching from Guatemala late one night and decided to cash in some channel points for Dylan to make a doodle. She drew me enjoying coffee w my Guatemalan friends. I LOVE IT!!!!

If you missed the first INSTRUMENTAL GUITAR RAID TRAIN on Dec 18, here is a collection of pix to try and convey the sounds and variety among our 15 talented artists. I’m grateful that my idea was so well-received by these artists and also grateful for the assistance to make it a reality. TOGETHER WHEREVER Raid Train SAT 5pmCST / 6pEST 3pPST an hour-long stream with fun music and friends. Thanks to for putting it together!!

Here is the little guitar expertly hand made by Salvadoran Luthier Arturo Torralles which Alarte had imprinted w my name. It has excellent intonation like a concert guitar and w good sound too. It also looks very nice and is finished well….

Art along the way….the small heart says “the slowest time in the world is when you hurry.” Reminds me of another quote “without hurry, without rest.” (‘sin prisa, sin pausa’)

Atitlan Shopping * riding in the Tuk-tuk * a church built in the 1500’s * the night sky….

A lovely view of the lake. The grounds are extensive and very well-kept. The crew includes a chef and grounds keeper. And an artfully arranged platter of tasty plantains.

On our way!! Our Saint of a Director, - planned a weekend for us to relax. A volcano. A pile of coconuts and coffee plants… Beautiful Guatemala….

Sometimes we hang out at the house. And sometimes we EAT! The fluffy pup is Maxi the bichon. Not sure if he’s bilingual, but I think not.

Days 2&3: Class Pix w Teachers and some student classes. The last photo is with a family whose son is 14 and I first met him at a festival when he was 6 or 7. His growth as a musician has been steady and impressive. It’s a humbling experience to help teachers build great programs and be able to go back and see the results.
