Any woodworker in the group who needs shop space? I have a 400 sq ft (20'x20') work area available in a larger woodworking shop.
$600 per month includes workspace, utilities, use of table saws, straight line rip saw, planer, band saw, drill press, brush machine, bathroom and lunch area. High dock for deliveries. On-sight materials available. Possible project subcontractor opportunities.

The KCWG is a membership of many woodworkers of various skills and interests. We have fine furniture makers, woodturners, home builders and more. The Kansas City Woodworkers' Guild was developed with you in mind. Let us tell you a little about our past. One evening in November 1984, 20 people met, after responding to an Ad by one of our Charter Members. He had put an Ad in the "Dispatch" (a local paper) asking if anyone wanted to start a Woodworking Guild. That night, the Kansas City Woodworkers' Guild had officially been formed! Today, we reach out in many ways to teach young woodworkers, fellowship with our peers and sustain our community. If this interests you, please consider becoming a member today! We operate as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of Woodworking in Kansas City. We promote the skill and craft of woodworking and provide education, information, fellowship, and organization to those interested in working with wood. The Guild also sponsors community outreach programs and similar activities. Our goals are accomplished through seminars, workshops, demonstrations, and networking with other guild members and the community. The Kansas City Woodworkers’ Guild is a great source of information for every level of woodworker from amateur to professional. At monthly meetings, members can improve woodworking techniques and skills through hands on demonstrations, guest speakers and discussions. The Guild supports its own Woodworking Shop, publishes a monthly newsletter with articles of interest, reports of events, notes, & comments, and sends out for sale/wanted ads and sponsors’ specials by E-mail. Many of our sponsors give members special prices and/or discounts on purchases of select tools and materials. Kansas City Woodworkers' Guild] & KCWT presents Santa’s Workshop

November 20 & 21, 2021, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Kansas City Woodworkers Guild & Kansas Citty Wood Turners club will present Santa’s Workshop and Holiday Gift Mart. Bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. Instead of going to a mall or store to visit Santa for a few seconds we’re offering the opportunity to build a wooden toy truck with Santa and his helpers. Best part is it’s all free.

Kids will take a block of wood through several stations to create a toy truck and get to assemble their truck with Santa’s helpers, meet and talk with @santamikekc The Kansas City Wood Turners will present a unique, turned, toy top that will be placed in a hole drilled in the middle of the truck bed. Kids will get two gifts in one.

While the kids are building their truck with Santa and his helpers, parents can shop the Holiday Gift Mart for handmade craft and gift items.

Santa’s Workshop and Holiday Gift Mart will take place the Saturday and Sunday before Thanksgiving, November 20-21. Plan your participation in this unique opportunity for kids and parents alike.

Kansas City Woodworkers’ Guild monthly meetings include the very popular Show & Tell where members display all levels of woodworking and are available to talk to you about their projects. Experience, each month, a featured program of demonstrations, discussions, and guest speakers. Our equipped shop means that we make sawdust at our programs, not just talk. Frequent open shop hours allow you to work on larger machines that supplement the tools in your shop.
