Mele Kalikimaka HOSA!
We ended the fall semester with a much needed winter social especially with the conclusion of finals week. We had such a jolly good time and it was filled with lots of laughter, fun, and socialization. From getting to know each other a little better to playing musical newspaper to trying to get the Oreo cookie from your forehead to your mouth and ending it with a traditional white elephant gift exchange, it was definitely a night to remember. Mahalo to the members that attended and we hope that you had a wonderful time and enjoyed it as much as we did it. Enjoy some of the highlights from the winter social! 🎄🎅🏼🤶🏼☃️❄️

Here is a little time lapse of today’s dental care packing event!

UHMC HOSA Happenings

‘Tis the season to be jolly, jolly in the magic of giving! What a better way to start this holiday season than to make dental care packs for our community. Our officers have dedicated their Aloha Friday to make 600 dental care packs. 500 of the dental care packs were given to Ms. Deborah Stone-Walls, the Executive Officer on Aging in the Maui Community. Deborah and her team at the Office of Aging will be distributing the dental care packs to our elderly population on Maui. The rest of the dental care packs will be distributed to other organizations/facilities. The time and effort put in towards the making of the packs have definitely been worth it especially knowing that they are for a good cause. This is the beauty in the spirit and season of giving.

In other merry news, our social will be held on December 15, 2017 at 530pm-8pm at the multipurpose room in the Pilina building (Student lounge). Just a friendly reminder, this is also the same date of fundraiser money collection.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask any of your officers via FB or remind 101. Mahalo!

Don’t forget to check out some of the highlights of today’s successful dental care packing event featured in this post! Aloha!

If you are planning on officially joining, please bring $25 for membership dues and club shirt. See you guys there! Aloha!

A huge mahalo to our amazing HOSA members for attending our final general meeting of the semester and for helping pack dental care supplies for seniors and children for our hospital's nursery unit.
