We are looking for a few more team members to join our crew here at PCD! If you know of anyone or would be interested yourself please reach out to me!

As of right now we are looking for a lead toddler room teacher, two more infant or toddler room teachers, as well as a floater that would work with all age groups. Pay range is $15-17 per hour. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, flexible schedule, and that LOVES children and having fun in the work environment.

Responsibilities:
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve conflict
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
Track children’s progress and report to parents
Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
Collaborate with other educators
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Skills:
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Ability to act as mediator between children
Friendly & reliable

Musts: Be able to pass a background check and additional clearances, HS diploma (some college preferred). Patience and a positive attitude as well as a genuine love and passion for children.

We are looking for a full time floater with flexible hours.

Must love all age groups and have experience.

We are looking for an experienced Toddler Teacher. Must love getting messy and being silly with the children! You will teach, supervise, inspire, and care for children while also motivating them to use their imagination, teach them basic academics, and communicate/regulate their emotions. You will manage as well as work together with the other teachers in the room to ensure the classroom is always operating under DSS compliance.

Pay is $15-17 / hour
Guaranteed 40 hours a week!

PALMETTO CHRISTIAN DAYCARE IS GROWING! We are so excited to announce our new, second location coming to Carnes Crossroads in Spring/Summer 2023!

Some of our parents have asked for lunch suggestions. Especially those in a peanut free class. Here are some wonderful suggestions!

We are super excited to give our staff their own dedicated workspace to create lesson plans, print activity sheets, and find even more creative and fun classroom experiences for our students.
