Students often come into Mathnasium believing they are "bad at math". Kids don't hate math, they hate feeling frustrated and confused by math. After working with our instructors students start to look at themselves differently. They might even start to LOVE math!

Spending some time cleaning and filing...feeling sentimental and SO proud of the over 200 students I have taught in the last couple of years. Being a part of their journey toward improving their math skills, and more importantly increasing their confidence and in some cases completely changing the way they look at themselves and their abilities, has been the most fulfilling and rewarding experience of my career. I have been so blessed to have the opportunity to teach children and I pray that I may continue to do so in 2013.
