Huntsville High Cyber Team News
The weekend of December 12th-15th, area schools competed in the Alabama State Round of CyberPatriot XVII. The HHS team had an impressive performance, finishing the round ranked *first in the state* with a 32-point lead over their closest competitor!
The networking portion of the competition is graded manually, and with over 3,500 teams across the U.S. and Canada, scoring typically takes about a week. HHS is eagerly awaiting the results to see if they’ll reclaim their State Champion Title. Stay tuned!

🎄✨ What a *Spirited* Competition!🎃📚

In a Nightmare Before Grinchmas kind of affair.
Advisories were busy, their wreaths on display,
Each one hoping to win in a big holiday way.
Creativity shining, the spirit was bright,
As judges prepared for a merry delight.
The teachers were ready with plans full of fun,
Contests and games for each class to be won.
With prizes galore for those who attend,
It’s a day of surprises from beginning to end!
No reason to worry, no cause for dismay,
Just come to school and enjoy the whole day.
A chance to relax before tests are in sight,
And end the week on a holiday delight!

Join us Friday for a day full of holiday dread! For laughter, for fun, and a prize to achieve,
Let’s crown the best wreath this Grinchmas Eve!

🎄✨ The holiday spirit was in full swing at HHS as our teachers gathered for the annual Secret Santa Reveal Breakfast! From thoughtful surprises to plenty of laughter, it was a heartwarming way to celebrate the season together. This cherished tradition is a reminder of the joy and camaraderie that make HHS so special. Happy holidays to our incredible staff! 🎅🎁❤️
PS..my secret Santa was the best- hands down!

🎶 Yesterday was an unforgettable experience for our choir students! 🎶
Organized by Mrs. Coleman, students had the incredible honor of participating in a Zoom call with Ola Gjeilo, one of the most renowned choral composers alive today. Not only did they perform one of his pieces and receive his expert critiques, but they also had the opportunity to ask him insightful questions about composing, the music profession, and his Norwegian upbringing.
It was a fantastic session filled with inspiration, learning, and a deep appreciation for music. Thank you, Ola Gjeilo, for sharing your time and wisdom with our students! 🎵
