RED RIBBON WEEK is organized by the National Family Partnership and is the largest drug-abuse prevention campaign in the nation.

Alabama 4-H is excited to support this great week through a poster contest as part of our Health Rocks!® program series. 4-H Youth will create a virtual, interactive poster promoting drug prevention and awareness using platforms such as Google, Glogster, Canva, and others.

Challenger families, as well as anyone else in Huntsville City Schools, are welcome to attend Technology Tuesday coming up! 🧑🏽‍💻

District technology coaches are going to be holding a parent tech night Tuesday October 24th, at Grissom High. This event is for any parent who has questions about the technology that their students use or how they can access them themselves. We will have a translator on hand. The event will take place in the GHS library from 5:00-6:00 PM.

𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑪𝑬𝑺 𝑬𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔... 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 to join Ms. Joiner and Rocket the Eagle to walk and represent Challenger Elementary in the Grissom High School homecoming parade!

We'd love to have as many faculty members and families present as we can!

The parade starts at Chaffee Elementary and ends at Grissom High (~1 mile walk).
Find us with our CES banner and please be there and ready to walk no later than 4:30 since the parade starts at 5:00.

*𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦*
No matter how much a team has raised so far.... the playing field is level for the last week! 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝘁 $𝟬 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 and there will be a top winner in each grade level. The top classroom team in each grade that raises the 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 October 16 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 20th will win an 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗔 $50 GC for their classroom teacher & a special snack for their class!
