Tapia Camps offer year-round college readiness sessions for students and professional development workshops for educators and administrators.
Hosted by The Tapia Center for Excellence and Equity at Rice University, Tapia Camps offer year-round college readiness training for students and professional development workshops for educators and administrators. Camps are designed to fit a school or school district's budget and desired educational outcome with the overall goal of enhancing students and/or faculty academically and professionally. All workshops are based on Rice University curriculum and are overseen by trained Rice personnel. The Tapia Center is an approved Continuing Professional Education (CPE) provider in Texas (#101-513). In addition to customized workshops, The Tapia Center hosts camps that are open to all interested students and educators each summer. Registration for 2017 is available now. We had a fantastic first week of camp with more than 100 students from Pasadena ISD, San Antonio ISD, Houston ISD, Goose Creek ISD, Midland ISD, Frisco ISD, and many more! Nearly 40 of these attendees came to camp as one of the top three students in their class at their respective schools. Thanks to everyone who joined us!
