'Macbeth' is a winner for Houston Shakespeare Festival

HSF closes Sunday! Make sure to check us out, tonight through Sunday!!

www.houstonchronicle.com This year's Houston Shakespeare Festival scores big with a powerful, tautly focused "Macbeth."
With forceful, straightforward direction by Jack Young, and particularly strong performances by Adam Noble and Tracie Thomason in the all-important roles of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, this production invests the tragedy with fleetness, muscular energy and a sense of inexorable inevitability. The action unfolds with a sense of forward motion and cumulative power. In short, this production manifests virtually all the qualities that indicate a Shakespearean tragedy is being fully and properly realized on stage.
