Our Story

Our theatre troupe was founded in January 2017 to offer an amazing opportunity for children in Waller County, Austin County, Harris County and surrounding areas to learn and grow in the performing arts. We offer weekly classes in singing, acting and improvisation. There are also many opportunities to acquire skills in technical theatre if being behind the scenes is more your cup of tea!

Acting- Rising stars (age 2-4) & Intro to Acting (5-18) Lets throw that stage fright out of the door! This class helps you become more comfortable in front of people and really hone in on what it takes to become a great performer. We will put on multiple shows throughout the year, take workshops, travel to see others productions, and much more!

Melodies (6-18)- Unleash your inner song bird! Our melodies class is great for everyone looking to develop their singing voice while also having a blast learning songs from many different genres. You will put on concerts throughout the year, participate in musicals and sing at engagements in the community.

Organized Khaos (8-18)- Our travel team is nothing short of exhilarating! This team will teach you how to be a well-rounded performer! Learning and growing your child’s skills in singing, acting, improv, technical theatre, dance and much more is what Organized Khoas is all about. You will learn hilarious games that you can entertain and even involve your audience in. We will focus on what each individual has to offer and foster these talents while helping them gain new ones. You will put on shows and workshops in the community and around Texas. (7 year olds may be accepted based on auditions)

Technical Theatre(8-18)- This is offered as a part of acting classes during productions for those that love to help out behind the scenes! This includes lighting, sound, scenery, hair, makeup, costumes and properties (props).

The Managing Artistic Director , Bria Landry, founded Off the Wall-er Theatre in January 2017. She is originally from Waller, TX and has 3 children. Ms. Landry has loved performing since she was very small. After moving to Bryan-College Station she performed in several small plays in elementary and made the city Girl’s Honor Choir. She later joined theatre and the broadcast team, KSFA, in middle school and loved every bit of it. In high school Mrs. Landry was a part of her school theatre while also performing with a youth community theatre, Brazos Valley Troupe. Brazos Valley Troupe was and still is her second family! She attended Baylor University where she was pre-med and majored in child and family studies. Mrs. Landry then went on to be an EMT, a certified doula, early childhood teacher and a Critical Care Unit Technician before founding Off the Wall-er Theatre and the Youth Country Club. She continues to show her passion for youth and performing arts every season!
