Let’s review today the second GOAL from the SMART chart.
Let me encourage you to brainstorm and write down what is your Measurable fitness and nutritional goal for the new year.

Measurable goals mean that you identify exactly what it is you will see, hear and feel when you reach your goal. It means breaking your goal down into measurable elements. You'll need concrete evidence. Being happier is not evidence; not smoking anymore because you adhere to a healthy lifestyle where you eat vegetables twice a day and fat only once a week, is.
Measurable goals can go a long way in refining what exactly it is that you want, too. Defining the physical manifestations of your goal or objective makes it clearer, and easier to reach.

TODAY I would like to share with you my NEW organic Papaya Tree. The family had a fun time growing these Papaya trees and they pollinated quickly. We have around 5 or 6 trees at this time. The tree grew well in Houston, the warm weather, lots of sunlight, lots of water and good soil helped!

Yesterday I posted the SMART GOALS chart.
Today I would like to encourage you to brainstorm and write down what is your specific fitness and nutritional goal for the new year. Remember your goal should be clear and specific, otherwise you won't be able to focus your efforts or feel truly motivated to achieve it. When drafting your goal, try to answer the following questions:
What do I want to accomplish?
Why is this goal important?
Who is involved?
Which resources or limits are involved?
Specific. Your goal should be easy to understand. A common goal, “get healthy,” is too general. There are so many ways to get healthy. How do you want to do it? Is it losing weight? Start exercising? Stop smoking? Do you want to get stronger, faster, more flexible? Break it down and it will be easier to manage.
Example
Rather than simply saying, “I’m going to exercise more,” you’ve specified how many calories you’ll burn per day or week.

Injury Prevention Program for Soccer Players.

As a personal trainer and parent I have learned our primary concern should always be the proper growth and development of our young athletes. No matter what stage of their career that athletes are in; there is always room for improvement. By varying training activities and keeping them fun and interactive, we can be certain our children are learning what it takes to be successful not only on the field, but also in life.
Even though, injuries are inevitable! Injuries specific to youth athletes often avise from various growth patterns and disorders. But even these youth specific conditions can be easily managed with a program design to strengthen & stretch the lower body. The lower body is the bone of a structure, so keeping it strong during physical activity is extremely important, strengthening & stretching the lower body assists in prevention of common injuries such as ACL, MCL, CCL, and PCL tears and sprains, groin pulls, ankle sprains, calf strains, shin splits, and stress fractures.
I decided to create this program primarily because I have worked with many youth and noticed the need. The program is two days a week for four weeks. We can implement the program in the convenience of your home, I provide the equipment. Once the program is completed the routine can be incorporated into a regular training program at least two to three times a week contact me at 346-225-7930 for additional information.

Thank you everyone for reaching out to me with questions regarding the Infinity Futsal league.
The league is for Boys and girls ages 2012 - 1999.
The Training days for the Month of June are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5:15pm - 7:15pm.
Friday is OPEN Play and the kids love this day!
If you decide to join the league the games are on Saturday.
I suggest you bring big container with water and towels for the sweat, the kids work hard and they always have fun.

Some of our Soccer Friends were asking me about the summer programs for the kids. I wanted to share with you this wonderful program Infinity Futsal Alliance has put together for the summer. Vivian and Marcos had a great time last year and will be joining them again this summer.
