To protect student safety during morning and afternoon drop-off and pick-up, we have made slight adjustments to our procedures. In the morning, we will have “hug and go” stations set up at the front and side entrances. As we head into spring, this is a great time to let your student build responsibility and independence. Any parent wishing to walk their child into the building beyond this point, will need to sign in at the front office and wear a visitor sticker. When leaving the building, parents will need to return through the same door and sign out by returning the sticker.
In the afternoon, to maximize safety, there will be two options at student dismissal. As always, your student may board a bus, where we document each student’s attendance on the bus, or you may pick up your student in our car-rider lane with the school-issued tag visible. If you forget your tag, you will need to come into the office to show ID. We will no longer be able to accommodate parents walking up to retrieve students from the car-rider lane, as this is difficult to manage from a safety perspective. If you need to check your child out for an appointment, please do so before 2:00 PM.

Panthers of all ages and their families, teachers, administration, support staff and bus drivers from West Jackson Elementary, Gum Springs Elementary, North Jackson Elementary and West Jackson Middle School; the feeder schools for JCCHS, are extended a special invitation by the Panther Basketball Boosters. You are all invited to attend Saturday's basketball games and see how it's done at the high school level. Wear your school's spirit shirt or your black and red to show your Panther pride! Junior Varsity girls start the day with a 3 p.m. tip off, followed by Junior Varsity boys at 4:30 p.m. Varsity teams take the court next with girls at 6 p.m. and boys at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person.
