I am extremely proud and humbled to have been interviewed by Ashlie Walton of LEO Warriors on their podcast about my experience as a Maryland State Police as well as the upcoming “Brothers in Blue Bash Las Vegas” for The Wounded Blue with LtRandy Sutton, Eddie Richardson, Frank Shankwitz and Jennie Hill. Also about our company BW Unlimited Charity Fundraising and how we help charities across America. As well as Iconix Custom Design and Framing as well as American Heroes Custom Framing that I am proudly partnered with Patrick Cullinan.
What a appropriate time after all thats going on in the Leo world to share Tip 2 from the amazing LEO Warriors. Tip 1 bought a lot of productive debate last weekend, and we expect the same for Tip 2. Share with us what you do, to do your part? We heard quite a bit this week, sometimes its just holding down the fort while your Leo handles critical incidents!! Maybe share how you cope with the stress that comes from that!! Its all about Peer Support right??

Everyone has the ability to live in optimal performance daily. We help people tap into that. As a LE

When a hero needs help, they are not broken.

No, instead, I believe that when a person devotes their life to protect and serve others, they are the most deserving when it comes to filling their own cup back up.

Ever wonder what first responders do when they aren’t serving the community? Well...we like to fish! 🎣

Such a great way to disconnect from it all.

What do you do to disconnect from work? 👇

It's easy for us to get caught up in the nuances of who we used to be.

You know, all of the junk that we have held onto for years.

We bottle that stuff up and we believe that just because we carry it around, that this is who we are.

NEWS FLASH: The things from your past that you are not proud of do not make you who you are today.

Chances are, you have grown so far from who that person was that you can even believe you have done some of the things you have done in the past.

It's time to let go of the junk. I am giving you permission to release. This is your rebirth.

...that one time when you and your husband were front and center with the privilege of watching as became our 45th president...

We didn't expect to go as we glared at our television on election night.

We weren't even considering the possibility of it at first.

Strings were pulled, flights and hotels were booked...and we had the honor of paying witness to history in the making.

This is a perfect example of how the most incredible power comes from those willing to power through the suck, despite what criticism may surround you.

How fortunate we are to live in a country of freedom and endless opportunity. 🇺🇸

Police officers are always crafty when it comes to keeping their personal information safe. 👌🏻

I want to point out one VERY common way that most people let down their guard: Passwords 😬

More and more, I hear stories of people who have had their accounts hacked. They have had money stolen, lost sleep, spent hours setting up new accounts or had their credit ruined. 🤬

Are you making these risky mistakes?

Mistake #1️⃣: Using the same password for all your accounts.

Mistake #2️⃣: Short passwords

Mistake #3️⃣: BradPitt, Charlie, Sarah, Princess, Barbie, Gandolf -- Did I guess it yet?
Do not use the names of kids, pets, nicknames, characters or celebrities. Even if I didn't guess it in my list, someone who knows you could.

Mistake #4️⃣: Easy to remember words. Easy to remember is also easy to guess. Any word in any dictionary is considered high-risk.

And, for goodness sake, if your password is "password" or "test" then you’re just asking for it!

Mistake #5️⃣: Numbers are no-no's.
Combine letters (both uppercase and lowercase) and numbers.

If all of this sounds too hard to remember, then consider using a Password program. Most of the good password programs will not only store your passwords on your computer, but they'll generate completely random passwords when you need one.

“Quit watching the news. Make the news.”

nails it out of the park every single time.

In his book How To Get And Stay Motivated, he shares how important it is to keep negativity out.

He has a sign in his office that says NO NEGATIVITY ALLOWED.

How many times are we filled with envy or upset based on something that we watched on the news.

One of his greatest points in this book is to make waves so big that you attract positive attention.

Make the news my friends. Stop watching it!

Like and follow if you agree.

Only the bad ones go viral, not those who share the love. Race and age should never effect our views of a person, spread the word, the bad bunch do not represent our community, men like him do! What have you done in your free time to make somone's day like our officer here?

First responders witness horrifying and graphic moments in life.

Most see this sort of thing on a routine basis.

This doesn't even account for the daunting hours, limited resources and media bashing that takes place, just while trying to do your job.

Repeated exposure to the terrible moments in life can systematically impact your mental well-being.

I get it...you are strong as f**k and don't think this could happen to you...

This is their story...not yours...

You are right, to some extent.

You are strong as f**k. You are trained as a warrior who will protect and serve, no matter what the sacrifice.

The truth is, under all of those layers of guard, a piece of you wants to be heard.

A piece of you needs to know that it's okay to have something to say.

To feel uncomfortable.

To want to unleash the s**t that has been silently draining you.

To any of our friends, brothers and sisters in blue, first responders and those who feel like they need someone to hold their space...

You are not alone. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU.

You have been through more than most and deserve a time out, for yourself.

The kicker? There are only approximately 800k reported sworn and reserve officers in the US.

This means that there is ONE OFFICER FOR EVERY 409,000 PEOPLE.

What are your thoughts?

According to , “Massachusetts recognized the Fourth of July as an official holiday on July 3, 1781, making it the first state to do so.

It wasn’t until June 28, 1870 that Congress decided to start designating federal holidays, with the first four being New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. This decreed that those days were holidays for federal employees.

However, there was a distinction. The Fourth was a holiday “within the District of Columbia” only. It would take years of new legislation to expand the holiday to all federal employees.“
