Learn ensemble skills such as learning and identifying important musical sections, keeping specific tempos and the group together, and more while playing fun and engaging music. Here you can break some quartet rules and explore other genres of music. Bring a bag lunch and we will provide the snacks! The class is taught by master educator Laura Readyoff. Ms. Readyoff has been a teacher for 38 years and is a consultant, conductor, adjudicator and section coach for both FCPS and LCPS schools. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. This ensemble is best suited for students who have been playing for 2-3 years. Tuition $100

Do you play a stringed instrument and would like to play in an ensemble? The Music Loft is hosting a Cello Choir and String Quartet AUG 12th from 10am-2pm! Learn ensemble skills such as learning and identifying important musical sections, keeping specific tempos and the group together, and more while playing fun and engaging music. Bring a bag lunch and we will provide the snacks! Cello Choir is for students who have been playing for at least 3 -8 years and String quartet is for students who have been playing for 2-3 years. Study piano with master pianist and teacher Mr. Kaisar Anvar. Kaisar attended San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studied under the guidance of the acclaimed pianist, Yoshikazu Nagai. His passion for growth and mastery of his craft took him on a global odyssey, where he received invaluable guidance and wisdom from acclaimed masters in the world of piano performance. The likes of Yoheved Kaplinsky and Jerome Löwenthal, esteemed professors at the heralded Juilliard School of Music, Solomon Mikowsky from the Manhattan School of Music, the illustrious 11th Van Cliburn Competition Winner, Olga Kern, Nelita True at the esteemed Eastman School of Music, and the esteemed Menahem Pressler from Indiana University, all played instrumental roles in shaping Kaisar's artistic prowess.
Kaisar pursued a master's degree at Yale University School of Music. It was at Yale University that Kaisar also found his calling as a teacher, nurturing a new generation of piano enthusiasts, including undergraduate and secondary students at Yale University, along with teaching numbers of private students outside of school. Because of his dedication and commitment to his students , he was awarded with “Certificate of Recognition for the extraordinary dedication and achievement in the field of teaching music and presenting students to perform at Carnegie Hall”.

She has studied under the instruction of Jonathan Snowden and Julietta Curenton. Anna is passionate about giving all students a comprehensive and meaningful musical experience. In her time at SU, she has performed in the Wind Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra. Her main focus of her musical instruction is to provide flexible support that responds to individual strengths, interests, and needs of the student.
